24.01.2022 So snake season has well and truly kicked in. (Not that it ever truly stops in sunny QLD). Our first call was at 2:30am and its barely stopped since. Check out this ratbag that gave us a run for our money today. All he wanted to do was get away from us...and here he gets his chance. My fave Qld snake!

22.01.2022 Spot the snake! Believe it or not, this Eastern Brown is about 5 foot...thats not bad for an EB. It highlights the importance of keeping clutter away from the house. This was an old fridge with plenty of rodent activity under it...so of course it was the perfect home for a snake. Everything else was well away from the house...but it only takes one thing!

18.01.2022 Just look at the colours on this yellow bellied sea snake He/she was washed up on the beach at Alex Heads Surf Club and called in to us for rescue. If you do find a sea snake please phone a snake catcher, do NOT put them back in the water. They are either unwell or injured. They are also highly venomous. This one is currently being treated at Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

16.01.2022 Did a roof inspection today. The home owner asked me to remove any skins .....this wasnt even a quarter of them I have honestly never seen so many in one space!
