25.01.2022 It's been many, many months since I updated here last, and I can't believe how much time and life has passed since my last post. The little stowaway that I carried through 23 weddings last year (just think of all the family photos, uptown funk and sneaky bits of wedding cake that is) burst into our lives a few months ago and has completely captivated us, taking me away from the business temporarily. But I'm back now, inspired, and with a renewed desire to more than ever before capture the little moments that mean something to people, as those little moments in my life have taken on even more meaning. So stay tuned... Oh, and this is little Elsie, we can call her my muse

07.01.2022 I love that point of a wedding where the reception is in full swing, everyone is inside, any stress of the impending weather or needing to get to certain places by certain times is gone. The bride and groom are mid conversation with guests they haven't seen in years, with a drink in hand and an easy laugh. I can sneak away and take it all in from a distance. Here is that little warm tent of love and friendship, of support and laughter, and containing everyone that Ed & Alex hold dear against the chilly sky of the Hunter.

These two special souls who I met one steamy New York summer evening at a hipster bar in Williamsburg over slightly warm cans of beer, and in an excitingly tipsy state hatched a glorious plan to take some photos of their nonchalant, pizza eating City Hall wedding a few days later. Fast forward a few years, a move back to Sydney, and I couldnt even contain my excitement to be able to photograph their big celebration back home with all their loved ones around (and more delicious pizza).
