25.01.2022 Hey guys there has been a stuff up in the tipping as the Essendon v Melbourne game that was round 2 is being played this week. Which means this week is a short week as whoever you tip this week between essendon and melbourne will contribute to the round 2 score. That means Sean & Brenton who are on doubles your tip will be doubled as you used double that week. I have adjusted everyone else's doubles and because you cant use your doubles on a short week i have shifted al the doubles back to the last full round which was played. This is the last week for the AFL before the finals kick off. Don't forget we go all the way to the Grand Final and this year the winner will receive a trophy along with prize money. The NRL still has 2 weeks to go and finals and State of Origin. so it will finish later in the year.

19.01.2022 It all comes down to this week in the AFL with the grand final being played on Saturday. Good luck to everyone. Also there were a lot of people in the NRL this week that got the margin but there was one person in particular who absolutely nailed it big congrats to Jacqui who nailed it got a perfect score sheet 2 from 2 the margin and the question getting 6 points for the round which goes to show points are still up for grabs. Because I'm away on Holidays I have made a makeshift ladder and forms good luck everyone

16.01.2022 Well everything is squared up now and it all comes down to the finals to crown our champions. Congrats to Troy on taking out the minor premiership of the NRL tipping and painting a target on his back. Good luck with the finals tips to everyone and it looks like it is going to come down to the wire.

15.01.2022 Hi Guys, The NRL will roll on as normal. The AFL however have a fiesta of games ahead. They are having 33 games played over 20 days straight. So that means i will be doing the ladder and then straight away the next round will start that night again. Feel free if you like to fill out the whole 4 weeks if you want to cover yourself and not forget about the games, at least that way if you want to change any of the tips just let me know before the game starts and i'll amend it. 14.01.2022 Wow so much happening in the footy world and in the tipping world. First off a huge congrats to Gade on scoring a perfect round this week in the NRL. Secondly a huge congrats to Ray and Pascal on both scoring a whopping 18 points each. They both go the margin and question right on doubles along with 5 teams tipped right. In doing so this has given Ray a huge leader on the ladder. ... Good luck all Carn the blue baggers lets rip the saints up Thursday night.

13.01.2022 Hi all, It has been an interesting week in the footy to say the least. With Essendon not being able to play their game atm i thought it was only fair to take the following action especially for those using doubles this week. ... The AFL ladder will be a temporary ladder with round 3 marked at its current games but will be pending score adjustments when and if Essendon play Melbourne. If that game doesn't go ahead i think it is only fair that whoever used a double that week will be gifted it back as it was an unfair advantage being 1 game shorter. There is talk the game may be played later in the year but for now i have marked it as the round is over with more scores to be added if they play. (Hence the orange column) The Carlton v Essendon game this week is in uncertainty but will be announced later in the week. Otherwise everything else is as normal moving forward.

11.01.2022 I have marked down the forced double point rounds left for people who have them up their sleeve. Don't forget the tipping isn't over in the AFL until after the Grand Final has been played and in the NRL after the 3rd State Of Origin has been played. Good luck all. 10.01.2022 So a short story but very similar to Marsh McCarthy who said i'll just do the NRL don't really know anything about the AFL mind you a 3 time AFL winner now. Kevin Columbus has take out this years AFL tipping comp leading all season. It just goes to show you don't need to be a AFL supporter or stats nerd to win the comp usually it is the people that don't look to hard into it and study that do well. So a huge Congrats to you Kevin on a stressful yet challenging season. 09.01.2022 With the COVID-19 effecting every bloody thing it so hard to find positives out there atm. Now it has affected our sporting communities. The tipping will continue to run and if we can find some joy we managed to have 1 lucky tipping who got a perfect round in the NRL this week Julie Palmer who smashed it, well done. On another high Aneta Bojanowski managed to some how lucky dip the margin in the AFL game. There were plenty of people getting margins and the NRL and some peopl...e are off to a flying start to the season already. Hopefully we dont have to sit there and stew over looking at you on top for the next 3 months until the next game. But be weary we are coming for you. 07.01.2022 Hey guys ill be running the footy tipping comps again and this year marks the 20th year. There is an NRL & AFL comp which run through the season until the Grand Final. I provide all the forms and ladders as normal. The entry is a one off fee of $25 per comp you want to be in. Friends, family and enemies are welcome to join so get those bragging rights over your mates as to who has the better insight at footy. If interested please write your name below and i will be in contact over the next month with some details. Last year we had 55 runners in the NRL and 28 in the AFL lets see if we can boost those numbers again this year and have an even bigger prize pool. This year there will be a trophy for the best tipper in each comp. Good Luck

With only 7 points up for grabs in the last State Of Origin game and the current leader having a demanding lead of 8 points. I would like to congratulate RAY AYOUB on a amazing effort in this years tipping. He has had a brilliant year and kept ahead of the pack for majority of the tipping season. With a huge come from behind victory Mr Craig Snodgrass got 26 points in the last round to win by 1 point. 01.01.2022 Well folks we have a winner. This is the first year we have done a trophy to the winner along with his name on the perpetual shield. A huge Congrats to Brett Stevenson on smashing the AFL tipping comp this year after winning the NRL tipping comp last year. I might back him to do the double next year and win both leagues. ... It was that close in the minor rankings that 2nd was a 3 way tie. Standings are as follows 1st Brett Stevenson - 147 Points - $320 2nd Brenton Cassells - 138 - $110 2nd Mark Fez Fliender - 138 - $110 2nd George Ayoub - 138 - $110 As for the NRL it is still very much alive with 21 points still up for grabs with the 3 origin games remaining. This will take place over 3 consecutive weeks. The games are being played on the following dates.
