24.01.2022 The Men’s 4 Ball Best Ball was won by Rodney Baker & Steve Edgenton with 44 points from Werner Siegenthaler & Jack Wood with Ben Dutch & Steve Dunn coming third. Nearest the Pins went to Charlie Filtness, Ben Dutch & Jason Copeland. In the Ladies Kylie Woodcock won from Jan O’Halloran & Michelle White. Golfers are reminded Coolamatong has a 2 person ambrose charity golf day for the local bushfire fighters next Saturday the 14th and spaces are still available.



24.01.2022 Wednesday saw Michael Justin win the Men's Division 1 with 37 points from Adam Hosie on 35 on a countback from Ron Duncan. Division 2 was won by Ian Funnell with 35 from Chris Kable 33 and Bruce Hart was third. Bruce also won the Golden Eagles Nest on the 3rd with other Nearest the Pins going to Werner Siegenthaler & Chris Halligan. The Ladies saw Pat Foote win from Carolyn Major.... Members are reminded that the Local Bushfire Fighters is coming up on SATURDAY 14 November.

24.01.2022 There was a good field for the midweek Golf at Coolamatong with Donna Tuckwell winning the Ladies from Mary Obermaier. Nearest the Pins went to Sarah Leckie, Carolyn Major & Vickii Roarty. In the Men’s Steve Edwards had a excellent score of 41 points winning from Pom Wheeldon & Alan Parson both with 36. NTPs went to Dave Bromell, Ron Wallace & Ron Duncan. Members are reminded that the OPen 4 BBB and OPen Stroke are on this Saturday & Sunday.

23.01.2022 A good field saw Adam Hosie win Division 1 Men’s with 39 points on a countback from Charlie Filtness followed by Laurie Whitehead 37 and Chris Brown 36. The division 2 winner was Gary O’Neil returning another great score of 42 points followed by Ken Kable37, then Alan Parsons & Geoff Murphy both with 36. Nearest the Pins went to Tim Robertson, Steve Owen, Laurie Whitehead & Ian Wheeldon. In the Ladies Jan O’Halloran won from Jenny Earney. NTPs also went to Jan & Kylie Woodcock. Coolamatong will be having their Open 4 Ball Best Ball and Open Stroke Championships this weekend.



22.01.2022 On Sunday there were some excellent scores in the Men’s competition. Division 1 winner was Chris Brown with 40 points, followed by John Henderson 39 and Ken Kable in third place. Division 2 saw Terry Stevenson won also with 40 points followed by Alan Parsons 37 and Bruce Dorward and Bruce Hart 35. Nearest the Pins went to Chris Brown with 2, John Henderson & Wally Alexandrow. In the Ladies Mary Obermaier won from Jan O’Halloran. The Coolamatong Men’s Open 4 Ball Best Ball & Men’s Open Stroke will be held on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October.

21.01.2022 On a cool day Steve Edwards won the Men's Competition with a excellent stroke round of a net 69, with the runner up Arthur Owens. In the Ladies Carolyn Major had a great day winnin and also getting 2 Nearest The Pins, Jenny Earney was the runner up.

18.01.2022 The threat of light rain did not deter Gregg Quinn from winning on Wednesday with a score of 36 Stableford points. Runner up was Chris Brown 34 on a countback from John Henderson and then came Steve Young with 33. Nearest the Pins went to Terry Stevenson, Steve Edwards & Alan Parsons.



16.01.2022 Wednesday's great weather produced great golf scores. In the Ladies Mary Obermaier won with 37 points from Jan O'Halloran & Betty Thompson. Division 1 in the Men's resulted in Ken Kable winning with 43 points from Mitchell Ring, Michael Justen and Steve Young. Division 2's winner was Chris Halligan on 41 from Steve Edwards, Werner Siegenthaler & then Ian Funnell.... Still spots for the Charity 2 Person Ambrose on Saturday for players with or without a official handicap.

15.01.2022 Saturday saw the Open 4BBB sponsored by the Banjo Paterson Inn with more than double the number of entries we have had in recent years. Winners were Steve Cuff & Rodney Baker with 45 points from John Henderson & Alan Parsons 43, then Alan Butterworth & Ross Thompson 41 on a countback. NTPs went to Steve Cuff & 2 to Roger White.

10.01.2022 A good number of Ladies for the midweek competition saw Mary Obermaier win from Donna Tuckwell and Jan O'Halloran. The 3 also scored Nearest The Pins. In the Men's Roy Gabriele won with 36 points from Ross Thompson & Ben Dutch with 35. Two NTPs went to Bruce Hart the other to Ross Thompson.

09.01.2022 Four extra play off holes were needed to decide the Coolamatong Men's Open Champion with Alan Butterworth finally overcoming Charlie Filtness in a great tie breaker. Charlie consequently won the Scratch A Grade from Marcus Caldwell. Scratch B Grade winner was Roger White with Alan Parsons winning the net.... Scratch C Grade winner was Ross Brown, the net winner was Dave Harrison. NTPs went to Ben Smith, Keith Elliot, Tim Robertson & Hunter Caldwell. Longest Drives in the 3 Grades went to Neil Thew, Chris Halligan & Dave Harrison.

04.01.2022 On Wednesday Division 1 was win by John Henderson with a nett 68 on a countback from Chris Brown followed by Arthur Owens with a 72. A excellent score of 63 saw Gregg Quinn win Division 2 from Ken Kable 67, Bruce Hart 68 & Geoff Murphy 73. Nearest The Pins went to Terry Stevenson, Wayne Tuckwell, Alan Butterworth & Laurie Whitehead. In the Ladies Mary Obermaier won from Jenny Earney with both also claiming the NTPs.
