20.01.2022 BEAST Cod from Small Water! This is what dreams are made of! After countless trips trying to find that cod opening fish, I came across this slab in a tiny clear flowing stream. I watched this fish charge out from under its snag, in half a metre of water, to destroy my Mud Guts Spinnerbait before hammering back towards the log. The power of this fish was incredible, and the fight was adrenaline pumping right up until I had a grip on him. It was going to take something speci...al to make up for losing a big fish from the dam earlier in the week and this fish well and truly did that! I’d love to see your season opener! I thought I would share that my cast fell more than a metre short of the snag and within seconds this fish travelled out from the log to hit the spinnerbait. 17.01.2022 There is no better way to end the year! Cracker day time cod I managed to land on the trusty Mud Guts Spinnerbait! Blowering Dam can be a tough lake to crack at times but when you do find fish, they are quality. All the info is available in my latest report inside the SF Membership.
