22.01.2022 The latest 3CX update is available for Android devices.

21.01.2022 Congrats to our fave business Integrated Communications Solution 3CX on their latest 5 star review. 3CX has been an invaluable tool for our clients over the last couple of weeks, allowing their staff to answer their office phones on their mobile while working at home, and transfer calls back to people in the office, completely seamlessly, while the included web-conferencing is a breeze to use and has allowed their teams to stay in contact. Awesome system all round.

20.01.2022 WOOHOO! Win for the day! Today we provisioned a VoIP PBX. That's not that different to any other day. Except this one was IN MALAYSIA! Well, an extension of it was. I wish I could say it was hard, or a long process, but the fact is we make it so easy that all the client had to do was post the phone to Malaysia, have their staff member plug it in, and start making calls back to Australia. Easy! :-) Happy client! WOOHOO!

20.01.2022 Do you take payments via bank transfer? They're about to get a lot easier, and a LOT faster. The NPP (New Payment Platform) will allow people to transfer money between banks and have the transaction complete (i.e the money CLEARED in the receiving account) within 30 seconds. 24x7x365. No more waiting over weekends or public holidays. Better yet, clients won't need to know your bank account details. You'll be able to set up an "overlay" id on your account (for example your telephone number, email address etc.) and they'll be able to pay to that. It's due to go live in February.

04.01.2022 Is your business still running Windows 7? You now have less than 1 year left before Microsoft will charge you to keep it up to date and secure. But hey, it's still better than Windows 10 in our opinion - what do you think?

02.01.2022 Netflix is about to get more expensive in the US (and probably here too). What do you think of the decreasing amount of studio content and the increasing amount of ho-hum Netflix produced content? Will you keep your Netflix sub if it keeps going up? Our kids are busting our balls for Stan, because of the Disney content deal. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

01.01.2022 To be honest we feel sorry for this lady. A couple of things to note about the NBN and wifi that make this article misleading in our opinion. 1. The NBN, no matter how fast it is when it gets to your home, has nothing to do with your wifi IN your house. It just doesn't. The NBN delivers internet to your house. To the modem. What happens from their is up to the gods of your modem, and of physics. Wifi doesn't deal well with walls. Any walls. If you're getting poor wifi, purch...ase a wifi extender or a couple of ethernet over power adapters (though these have their shortcomings as well). A good way to test is to plug the computer directly into the modem using a LAN cable if your computer has a socket (a couple of dollars from officeworks or JB hifi). Test it using a website. Then use wifi from your bedroom. The direct connection will be faster, but it's not the NBN at fault. It's wifi. Caveat: A decent modem WILL improve your wifi reception over an el-cheapo one (and of course if you're using a modem that isn't compatible with the internet connection you have, well, you'd be lucky to get a connection at all). Do your research. Buy a good one. But a wall is still a wall is still a wall. 2. A new laptop likely won't solve your problems either. Your computer may run slowly, it may take a while to open your browser, or react to your inputs, or load a page, but that is NOT your internet speed. That's the specs of your computer. If you're running a newish computer, and your internet is slow, a simple test to see if it's your laptop is to tether your computer to your phone data connection and test it. If you get a better connection with your mobile phone, it's not your computer. 3. Find an IT guy you can trust. The fact that this person's IT guy told them to buy a new computer and it would fix their slow internet is just plain awful. All he's done is line his own pockets. A new computer is an absolute last resort. Your IT guy should always test everything else first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below. http://www.theage.com.au//you-can-get-more-out-of-your-nbn
