25.01.2022 Shout out to Rebecca New Manager of Blue Infusion supporting my client with volunteer work helping to fulfill her goals on the ndis plan. Making her feel part of the community and learning new skills. Want to visit a great quiet location to meet up with friends for a coffee and feed, Blue Infusion is on Flinders Parade Northlakes. Staff are kind, funny and cheerful.

If you have young adults (15yrs +) with special needs/ disabilities, or any young adult that would like to join us please reserve your spot. How this course is run is only with 6 in a group.... (Note :4 seats remaining) Benefits: Improving daily living skills for home as well as work Skills to help with volunteer or paid work in the community Increase social and community participation Make new friendships Run, relaxing environment, breaks every 50mins You may be able to use your NDIS funding for this course Course outline: Day 1 - Communication and Customer Service (Non Accredited Course) This course is designed to teach an understanding of the importance of communication and teamwork within hospitality. We also focus on customer service (even if they are not dealing with customers) and how to interact with others Day 2 - Work Health and Safety (Non Accredited) Day 3 - Food Handling and Safety (Non Accredited) These courses are becoming more popular within the industry as a requirement to work safely within cafes, restaurants and hotels. There is no legal requirement for either of these certificates to be held or accredited within hospitality, however it certainly is becoming a requirement that a lot of business are asking for.
