25.01.2022 I LOVED doing the Social Media for the Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup & Carnival 2020 for the first two years and let me tell you it was a MASSIVE job, the amount of questions and requests on the weekend wore my phone battery down 3 times in one day. This year, like last year I will be attending for the FUN of it. We just haven't decided is it on the ocean watching back to the beach or in the #WaikikiTent.

24.01.2022 OMG.... Two members of RBS Business Breakfast Club shared with us yesterday that they had been invoiced $30 PER MONTH simply to continue to have a Facebook Link showcased on their website. That was on top of the $50 per month hosting and the site had NO SSL on it... WHAT!!!!!! Its a link that goes up ONCE and takes two minutes to add, and should NEVER be charged once, let alone a MONTHLY fee, it should be the cost you'd include in the web design.. I nearly died.....in f...act I am still in shock.. Moral of the post... get two or three quotes when building a website. See more

22.01.2022 Gday. You may notice some changes in your Facebook posts appearing in the next few months. Facebook has decided to implement hashtags as part of the strategy. They are rolling out the changes now. # hashtags have always been a Instagram thing. Not a Facebook thing. Whilst on Instagram you place those hashtags at the bottom of the post for Facebook it is imperative that hashtags are part of the sentence and are not over used.... This is to stop the post looking spamming and you still retain its social selling presence. IMPORTANT do not connect your Instag post to Facebook so they go out the same time, social media professionals share that is a BIG NO NO as the platforms are different and should be actioned differently. You MAY have the opportunity to change back, go to your home page and on the top right hand corner you'll see a drop arrow, there is a link there saying "change back to classic FB" However, come September onwards it will ROLL out whether we like it or not, it may NOT reach a permanent change in Australia for months. ... I am in a good with Facebook monitoring and answering our questions, and its a NIGHTMARE from world wide professionals stand points, but like everything prior with Facebook we'll get used to it. Another reason to understand that Facebook is a LEGAL platform and what you write and share on it can get you SUED. ... Personally I feel many times Emojis are not as professional as they could be on a business page.. as they are attracted to a certain demographic and can put off others. Mind you its been proven that certain emojis can traction in organic reach...
