21.01.2022 And we made the big time!

17.01.2022 As it happens: prospective members sign the register for formation of Solar Harvest Community Energy Co-operative!!

16.01.2022 Gawler locals might like to join this zoom discussion tomorrow about the tv show and future actions.

15.01.2022 Our first AGM is coming up on 30 November! This year, all Director positions will be declared vacant and open for nominations. You do not have to be a financial member of Solar Harvest to be on the board (our Rules require 'a majority' of the Directors to be members). Nominations must be received by Monday 2 November on the specified form, and supported by two members. If you would like more information or would like to nominate, please contact us on [email protected] to receive more information and the nomination form, as well as help to get two members to support you. We would love input and support from new directors so please consider nominating. We meet usually 1-2 times a month for around an hour. The AGM will be held on Monday 30 November 2020 at 7pm. We will have an in-person option at the Gawler Civic Centre 89-91 Murray Street, and also a Zoom video option. Please RSVP to this page or [email protected] for catering purposes.

12.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has responded so positively to our launch! Unfortunately we've had a little glitch - if you've sent us an email query via our website, it didn't send us your return address. I promise we are not ignoring you, we just can't reply. Please resend your queries to [email protected] And because the same questions are coming up often: anyone in Australia can become a member of our co-op, and our Board members are all volunteers only being reimbursed if they incur any expenses as a result of being on the Board.

11.01.2022 If you have been thinking that our post-covid future needs to include more renewables and more working co-operatively, then do we have some good news for you! The team at Solar Harvest are super excited to announce that we are now a fully registered co-operative and able to accept memberships. If you become a member of the co-op, you will be supporting us to install solar panels on the roofs of community organisations and small businesses, helping reduce running costs for th...em, and also increasing renewable energy production in South Australia. For more information on the Solar Harvest community energy co-operative, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkWGyBqe4fM&feature=youtu.be Each member share is $500 (plus administration fee of $50 per member), and you can find out how to purchase here (after reading the rules and disclosure statement of course) https://solarharvest.coop/?page_id=69 We would love you to join us in creating the future we need!
