Sadly eight names, all NSW RFS volunteers, have been added to the memorial this year. We will never forget the service of Michael Maria, Phillip Bell, Ian Long, Robert Panitz, Geoffrey Keaton, Andrew O’Dwyer, Samuel McPaul and Colin Burns. 06.01.2022 Four of our team headed to the training grounds today to hone their offensive structural firefighting skills as well as consolidating their skill sets on the latest best practices for structure fires within our community. It allowed us to work alongside Member’s from Medowie Rural Fire Brigade and Mulbring Rural Fire Brigade, fostering inter brigade relationships with teams that we may be called upon to work with. Today also provided a great learning opportunity for two add...ition crew members to come along and provide support and get an insight in to the skills required for the next phase of their firefighting journey. Huge shout out to all the instructors, safety crew and support crew that came along and made today possible.

01.01.2022 Perfect weather today to do a combined training with our CAT 1 and Fire Boat Delta. Crews worked together in a relay pumping exercise in getting water from our crew in the water up a 20 degree slope to crews fighting a simulated Bush fire scenario.
