25.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the team at Solgen Energy Group. Keep cool and enjoy the break!

23.01.2022 Big savings for Central Coast Council following solar installation Solgen Energy Group has recently embarked on an exciting new project with Central Coast Council involving the installation of 3,500 new solar panels upon 38 Council owned buildings. The project is set to be complete by the end of the year and will save the council around $220,000 per year in energy expenses a huge difference! In addition, this system will reduce energy consumption by approximately 1.4GWh ann...ually and reduce Councils carbon footprint by 1,100 tonnes of CO2-e per annum. For reference, this is comparable to the power used by 230 local homes. In the coming months, it will be exciting to see the project progress and come into fruition. This kind of innovation from councils sets a great principle as we continue to progress towards renewable energy sources, and in turn, significant reductions in energy costs. Given the high potential Australia provides for solar development, its great to be involved in progressive projects like this. 21.01.2022 Solgen Energy Group have been working with Cairns Regional Council in their adoption of renewable energy through solar power since 2016. In that time, Council buildings have benefited from significant cost and greenhouse emission reductions through utilising solar power. Commencement of the Marlin Coast mini solar farm is a significant milestone in the next stage of Councils roll out of solar power systems. The Marlin Coast mini solar farm will be constructed in harsh enviro...nmental conditions with flood mitigation strategies in place on land that was otherwise without use. Working with local businesses, Solgen Energy will construct over 1.7MW of solar power systems across Councils waste water treatment plants. These systems will produce enough energy from the sun to power the equivalent of close to 200 local homes annual energy consumption. David Naismith, Chief Commercial Officer for Solgen Energy said: Cairns Regional Councils solar initiatives are an outstanding example of saving costs and reducing emissions while utilising redundant space such as rooftops and reclaimed land. The use of leading solar technology and some of the strongest panels on the market means that Council has banked these benefits for decades to come. https://zcu.io/kuSB
