John co-founded Solido in 2014 with his wife Libby, and brings to the table a vast knowledge of building practice drawn from a distinguished construction career spanning more than 45 years. John began his working life in the early 1970s as an apprentice carpenter with AV Jennings. The following twenty-five years saw him working under some of the citys best builders, as Brisbanes middle ring suburbs bo...omed. By the mid 1990s, he had started the decade long transition from swinging a hammer to senior project and leadership positions with industry leaders such as Hutchinson Builders, Canny and Lexicon Co., acquiring essential project delivery and management skills along the way. John is deeply involved in the construction and project management of each Solido project and leads a team of highly skilled tradesmen across our sites. He is committed to making Solido a preferred place of employment in order to attract extraordinary people and enjoys leading and developing a team to pursue and love excellence always.
