25.01.2022 The nervous system is a highly complex part of our bodies that coordinates its actions and sensory information by transmitting signals to and from different parts of its body. The nervous system detects environmental changes that impact the body, then works in tandem with the endocrine system to respond to such events. Somatic yoga helps by retraining the brain and the nervous system to let go of patterns through small and gentle movements. ... This style of yoga is completely accessible to all ages and ability levels and the benefits of the practice can be experienced after just one session.

22.01.2022 Yoga is not all about being flexible, it's about showing up without expectation of how it should go. It's about NOT believing the labels like "too injured" or "too old" and finding a new way to be the best version of yourself. Yoga is a lifestyle not an exercise program although, yoga has no judgement if you only want to use the poses to exercise.... Yoga is about discovering that those crazy thoughts in your head about why you "can't" or "shouldn't" are not true. It's is about slowing down and seeking something greater than yourself.. Yoga is the ultimate practice of love. Namaste dear friends, it's a pleasure to be teaching again

02.01.2022 The term Somatic means ‘embodied’ or ‘of the body’. Thomas Hanna developed the field of Somatics after he observed how certain body-work procedures helped people who had postural difficulties to regain control of the muscles that were holding them in these restrictive ways. If you would like to know more or join a class please feel free to give me a call on 0404 583 894 ~ Frank
