24.01.2022 Today was the final lesson for Taylah, one of my year 12 flute students. Taylah has learnt flute with me for more than 5 years, and today as she left I felt a mixture of sadness and excitement. I am sad that our journey together has come to and end. You have been a fantastic student and I have enjoyed helping you prepare for all of your school exams and performances. At the same time I am excited for the next stage in your life. Believe in yourself and your abilities Taylah

21.01.2022 TO THE QUOTA BEENLEIGH CITY OF LOGAN EISTEDDFOD COMMUNITY It’s a crazy year and it is with very sad hearts, that we are suspending entries for the 2020 Eisteddf...od. Although there is lots of uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, at this stage, it looks like it could impact events over the next 6 months (until our spring). We have had lots of discussions internally about a modified event, but there is no way to run that type of event and keep all of our entrants, teachers, volunteers, members and the audience safe. We will of course monitor the situation over the coming months and should the Australian Government deem it safe to run large events in July, August and September we will reopen entries however that decision would need to be made by May to allow time for preparation for the Eisteddfod. We will keep you posted should this eventuate. Those who have already entered will have their full entry fees refunded over the next 7-10 days. We will be in touch if we need further details in order to process a refund. All our sponsors will also be contacted in the coming days. Please know that we always have had, and always will have, the care and safety of our whole Eisteddfod Community as our first thought. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Warmest regards, Heather, Margaret and Team Quota Keep safe everyone what will Heather and Margaret do over the coming months???

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Maya for being awarded Honours (A) for her Second Grade AMEB Piano Repertoire Exam! Maya was meant to sit for her exam earlier in the year but due to Covid-19 in person exams were cancelled for a time. Although Maya has already started preparing towards her Third Grade exam, she still wanted to sit her Second Grade exam and receive a certificate in recognition of all her hard work. What a fantastic result!
