21.01.2022 To all our amazing customers we have a BIG announcement to make. After over 40 years trading and 20 years in Kogarah we have decided that the time is right for us to close our store. It has been a truly epic and incredible ride and we have LOVED every moment. We have had the pleasure and privilege of connecting with incredible people and playing a part in some of your most momentous occasions - from weddings and Christenings to engagements and school formals! It has been an h...onor and instilled us with such fulfillment and pride. We will genuinely miss that aspect of the job and all the lovely faces that we get to see so frequently in store. So why we are choosing to leave Kogarah? We have a large and loyal customer base who will naturally be suprised by this decision. Of course it was not an easy decision to make and there is no one reason, but rather some personal realisations and desires for the future. Although it's hard to believe my mum 'Whirlwind Stella' is 65 years young! She is ready to enjoy her retirement, travel, and spend more time being a Grandma. My gorgeous sister Mia has her hands full as a busy mum and I am seeking to take a break and focus on some personal goals and creative pursuits. We won't rule out a comeback, but for now a little time and recalibration is the priority. As a family business, SN has been our home, our passion, our world. But change is an important and necessary part of life, allowing for growth and empowerment. Although this is incredibly poignant for us, the timing ultimately feels right for our family. We were lucky to have GREAT years - arguably the best years in retail. We will be forever grateful for what Something Nice has given us and all the beautiful souls we have had the pleasure of serving over the years. I personally have loved connecting with you on our social platforms. It has become an awesome little online community and that's why i invite you to keep following to see what the future holds. It's farewell for now, but not goodbye. Sincere love and gratitude from all of us here at Something Nice

20.01.2022 Thankyou all for your beautiful messages We are truly humbled and moved by them all. We have received many enquiries as to when our last day will be. Don't panic! We will be here for another two months or so as we clear our stock. We just wanted to announce our plan early so everyone has a chance to say goodbye, finalise laybys and redeem any outstanding credit notes and gift vouchers.
