EmAGN QLD and SONA will be holding beginner Revit Tips and Tricks sessions at QUT to help teach useful skills for your design projects! The course will be held over three sessions, each one focusing on introducing, applying and testing Revit concepts as a design tool. We are proud to announce one of the programs that is to come, the SONA Career Series! In collaboration with EmAGN QLD, we have put together two exciting components for the SONA Career Series - The Portfolio Review Workshop @ AIA chapter and The HIRE ME Industry Talk which will also be hosted at the AIA chapter. An architecture portfolio is such a crucial co...mponent in securing your dream job. It has come to our attention that many of us still feel little confidence in knowing what we should really include in our portfolio. It's common to hear different opinions from everywhere, but who should you listen to? The person who may one day hire you of course! We are proud to present to your the Portfolio Review Night at the AIA chapter, where we have invited practicing architects from different offices to come and personally review your work speed-dating style. Now you have your portfolio, but you still need to know what the industry expects of you, and what you should expect of the industry. As the second component of the SONA career series, we are presenting the HIRE ME industry talk, where recruitment specialists from Beskpoke and practicing architects to talk about the realities of work in practice and share their insights on life after university.
