This technique is a very gentle, rhythmic massage that stimulates the movement of lymph fluid through the body. Secondary Lymphoe...dema which may arise because the lymphatic vessels or nodes may have been damaged through: - trauma and tissue damage, - surgery, - radiotherapy, - infection, - venous disease, - immobility or - obesity. Any major damage to the lymphatic system causes a life long risk of lymphoedema. 06.01.2022 Happy New Year - 'Bring on 2019' After a couple weeks off over the festive season with family and friends, I am ready for 2019. Admittedly I did overindulge with rich food and a few drinks that may have contained alcohol :) ... I treated myself as well to a couple pamper sessions and will definitely schedule more in during the year as regular maintenance. The exercise has started on a regular basis again and planning the weekly meals as we are all pretty busy in my household and struggle to think of what should be on the table that night.
