15.04.2022 Your kids don’t need perfection. Just you- loving, giving, trying and simply being there. I feel the same about photos of you, (of us as mums. )PLEASE don’t wait to capture your motherhood moments. I know the photos that’ll mean the most to your children are the ones that you appear in. Don’t feel like you need to wait for the perfect time or when you feel like being photographed- because most probably that time won’t come. But that time you won’t get back.

26.03.2022 I had a session on Saturday and we almost postponed due to weather forecast- (Sydney weather is so all over the place) but something told me to push on. We did- then half way through it rained, so we waited under a tree and the girls had a snack. When the rain stopped we pushed on and captured this families sweet moments under a cloudy sky. I always stand by the guarantee that if weather stops us getting everything we need, we will do a reshoot. But there is something magical about cloudy, hazy shoots that makes me always want to push against the odds!

She is a creative, a lawyer, a mother, she is from Slovakia, and I have captured her with her family multiple times. But this time it was just her. She told me this time she wanted photos on her her own, and she wanted to do this for herself. I love that she did this, she had a creative vision and turned up as her strong and beautiful self, to capture her as she is today. 23.01.2022 There was a time this year where I wasn’t allowed to work. A time that meant going outdoors with my camera to capture a family was a non-essential service and not ok. That was a really scary time for me, as it was for many. Not only was my income swept from under me in a matter of hours, but the thing I love to do the most was also banned. The end of this year has been my biggest yet.... and I think everything has a silver lining. I think I’m finally realising and feeling proud that what I do may not be essential, but photographs of our lives are probably (besides our loved ones and pets) one of our most valued life possessions that cannot be replaced.

15.01.2022 One of the best things I did in 2020 was to do my online booking system. I have just streamlined my booking and updated my pricing for 2021. All previous clients get a $50 off for each returning session. Also anyone that booked in their session for 2021 last year will still get last years pricing.

It’s definitely up there with one of the most memorable weddings I have captured- not because of its grandeur, but it’s simplicity!! I can’t wait to capture more of these INTIMATE WEDDINGS in the coming few months.
