14.01.2022 Paintings from Eastwood, Monday class. Liz Robson's work and featuring Rosie the dog. I have attended Sophie's art classes for about three years. I started with minimal skills but now have good competency in drawing, pastels, oil and acrylic painting. I enjoy the friendly, non threatening atmosphere of the classes, and Sophie's careful, patient and skilled tuition. As an artist of some note Sophie sets a high bar and thanks to her I have exhibited some work and receive occasional commissions. People from beginners to the more skillful seem to slot easily into Sophie's classes and thrive to produce some amazing art. Highly recommended!"

08.01.2022 Workshops at Gallery 1855 have been very successful and lots of fun. Some photos from both days of happy students.:)

07.01.2022 New classes starting at Gallery 1855, Tea Tree Gully this July, an afternoon and evening class on Thursdays. 8 week courses. Gallery 1855 is a beautiful, light filled studio, providing all easels. You will be required to bring your own materials, You will learn lots of new techniques in a supportive, environment.

05.01.2022 Hi everyone, Sophie here. I have established a Tuesday morning art class in Aldinga. I currently have two places available for this class. For beginners, this course provides a strong foundation drawing and painting techniques. Students will learn important techniques such as proportion, tone, composition, perspective and colour theory, and work in a variety of media including charcoal, pencil, ink, pastel and then moving on to paint. Weekly classes run during school terms th...e cost is $300 for 8 classes. Technique and application using Pastels, Oils, Gouache, Watercolours. Please contact me to enquire about joining this class.
