23.01.2022 On Sunday 2nd August 2020 we celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Due to covid19 we could not travel North to be with the family so instead we hosted "An Italian Day" at Sorell Barracks with our neighbourhood and friends. We had a fabulous day. Thanks for all of those who helped us celebrate. We cooked way too much food as usual. Typical Italian's

21.01.2022 Somerville House Reunion hosted by Vicki Pentecost (Waddell) at her Bed & Breakfast "Cherry Cottage" here in Sorell, Tasmania. We were fortunate to have three of the lovely ladies stay here with us at Sorell Barracks.

20.01.2022 We are celebrating 4 years of owning Sorell Barracks. We still enjoy meeting guests from everywhere. We have had many visits from Tully people travelling Tassie. It is great to catch up with locals from our home town in North Queensland. We look forward to another few years of running the BnB. Come and stay. Cheers from Chick & Tracy

10.01.2022 Just a quick little message to any interested buyers of a BNB in Sorell, Tasmania. We are thinking of retiring very soon and will be placing The Sorell Barracks on the market. If anyone is interested please contact me. I have had so many guests wishing they could be doing what we have been doing "running a BnB as a semi-retirement option." We are wanting to spend the next 10-15 years travelling and being closer to family so that is why we are thinking of selling. We have love...d the experience and meeting so many people from overseas and interstate. Can be very rewarding but I must admit it takes quite alot of work. It also is great to be self employed and you can block off the booking calender anytime that suits you. You can make as much or as little as you want in this business.
