24.01.2022 Monday Myth - Oh I WISH! Well perhaps some of them are but I'll hazard a guess that even the best of them 'have their days'. Like the old adage about 'an electricians house is never properly painted" (just mixing 'em up there!) There is usually some aspect of ones life that isn't totally sorted! For me it's grocery shopping! I've got an app, I use the app to add what I need to get and I use it at the store, what I still haven't achieved is to shop just once a week! I'm popping in a few times a week to grab stuff Meal planning isn't something I particularly like so that's my weak point What's yours?



22.01.2022 Monday Myth - No no no we don't! It's your stuff, it's your choice. You are in control, a professional organiser is there to help you make decisions but we don't force you to get rid of anything. Pure and simple!

13.01.2022 Monday Myth - This one seems logical but it isn't always the case. We love pretty pictures of clean tidy & organised things (our brains love it, it's easy to make sense of what we're seeing) but your stuff can be quite organised and functional but not look particularly 'neat and tidy'. Don't be chastising yourself if your stuff doesn't look like a magazine image! If it's how you need it to be and you are able to be efficient with it the way it is then all good!

12.01.2022 Any excuse for a party yeah?!!! It's a big deal to get clear of clutter &/or thoroughly organised in any way so stop, look around, breath in the space you've created and CELEBRATE!

06.01.2022 When you start it's best not to dilly dally. Work fast and avoid spending time reminiscing. The easiest way to achieve this is to choose from 3 options initially. 1. Keeping this item in this room 2. Item belongs elsewhere i.e. another room, another person, charity, etc - in other words NOT in the space you're clearing. 3. Rubbish - I don't need to explain this one. Remember to have fun! I suggested in a previous Tip that you could play a 'war' game with the kids or other strategy. And, when you feel overwhelmed or tired TAKE A BREAK! the stuff will still be there when you get back (unfortunately )
