24.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE: 1. Please DO NOT bring your child to swimming if they have a cold, cough, temperature. 2. If your child is "getting over" a cold, but still coughing or snotty, please hold off from coming to swimming until the cough and the runny nose is gone. 3. Please don't be offended if Paris or I remove your child from swimming lessons because we feel they are not well enough to be swimming, ie coughing or snotty. You will absolutely be offered a makeup class if this s...hould happen. In view of the recent cases on the South side, we would be naive to think that this virus will not "jump the river". Be vigilant. Please respect the health and safety of us and of your fellow Swim School participants. Thank you. See more

22.01.2022 TERM 4 FEES Second round of payments are due this week please.

22.01.2022 I am currently working on the timetable for Term 1 2021. It is mostly complete, however, a bit of fine-tuning still to be done. I greatly appreciate your patience as you await your times. As usual, this is a difficult task as we endeavour to place our preppies (mostly who've been coming since they were toddlers) in to before and after school spots. Of course, these kids will get priority as they can't come any other time. Thank you for understanding.

20.01.2022 Last week people. Slips on cards this week regards times. These are not set in concrete until we roll through the first couple of weeks. Whilst we may choose a grouping that is suitable now, some kids come back after these holidays very different little swimmers to what they are now, particularly those with pools, so some changes may be necessary. If you have not already paid your deposit, please do so now to ensure your spot is safe. If you are not here this week, I shall get in touch vis SMS. Thanks

20.01.2022 Oh dear Edit - no damage done

20.01.2022 INTENSIVES: I’m so thrilled with how Day 1 went

18.01.2022 How good were my breaststrokers today Pull.Breathe.Kick.Glide.

17.01.2022 So proud of this boy. H, you have come so far. Your mum and I both nearly fell off the chair when we saw that left arm come out of the water. You are AWESOME!!!

15.01.2022 CHANGES FOR TERM 1 2021 As usual we have a considerable number of children going to prep next year who will need to be moved into before or after school classes. This will necessitate moving some children who currently swim with a start time prior to 8.30 am to lesson spots starting after 8.45 am. Whilst I am aware that this may be an inconvenience initially, unfortunately, we have no other way of fitting our 2021 preppies in to an already full program, and we owe it to tho...se families to make these changes in order to accommodate them. There will be a note on all children's cards next week asking the questions: will you be re-enrolling for Term 1, will you need to change days due to kindy or work commitments, and, if your child is going to prep, would you prefer morning classes (2 children for 15 minutes) or after school classes (5 children for 30 minutes). It would be great if you could fill out this form and leave it behind so I can get started on making changes. Thanks in advance.

15.01.2022 Hello from Tallebudgera

14.01.2022 What can I say Awesome work today kids

13.01.2022 Training has begun. As I have done for the past six years, I will once again be participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise much needed funds for research into childhood cancers. Just to explain how the challenge works: We, the rider, nominate a distance to ride throughout the month of October. We ride solo, or with friends, but at no set time or day. We simply log the amount of km's ridden throughout the month and the GCC displays our funds raised, along with the ...country's cumulative funds raised. As per norm, I have nominated to ride 500 km and raise $500.00. Over the years I have appreciated so much the support of my "swimming" family. I will be putting my log of kms on the whiteboard in the entrance to the pool during the month of October to keep you posted. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and can be sent through the link below: Thanks heaps. https://greatcyclechallenge.com.au/Riders/CathLinkins1 See more

10.01.2022 TERM 1 2021 Thank you to all who have returned their slips for Term 1. You have been allocated a place. If you haven't returned your slip as yet and would like to continue in Term 1 please text me on 0435477859 and let me know if you require any changes. I am in the final stage of preparing the timetable. Spaces before school are extremely limited and after school spaces are filling quickly. SIBLINGS - I have had numerous requests to fit younger siblings in back to back... with their older siblings in before school spots. Unfortunately, this is not going to be possible as I have to reserve these places for school age children in Term 1 (our busiest term) Thanks for your assistance. See more
