22.01.2022 Hey guys, Just wanted to give an update on the business. Earlier this year I decided to downsize operations, this was not just a direct result of COVID-19. ... Back in January, new restrictions were imposed by the Shire Of Broome and there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of holiday home/AirBNB operations in Broome. This market had provided a steady stream of income during the dry season which enabled me to employ a team of seasonal workers. Due to this and other personal reasons, I decided back in January I would no longer continue management of holiday homes and I aimed to downscale the business heading into 2020. Then...COVID 19 hit. Sooooo many cancellations. I had 3 girls working for me at that point and it was a pretty scary time. Just want to give a MASSIVE thanks to clients past and present, I am SO grateful for all the support i’ve been given this year. Your continued support of my wee business meant I was able to keep staff employed during a really rough patch. Yes, I am still operating, I have been operating this year with a much smaller team. Personally, I am taking time to study part time whilst working on my next venture. But as always I am still totally 100% committed to providing quality cleaning services. It’s been great to see an influx of tourists to Broome during recent months and I sincerely hope the Shire Of Broome re-consider their stance towards holiday home letting to accommodate tourists wanting to visit our beautiful region. We really hope we won’t be breaking out the Tyvek suits anytime soon (do they come in pink)? But seriously, we are prepared and have appropriate measures in place to keep staff, clients and our community safe during this trying time.
