24.01.2022 We cebrated our Summer Solstice ceremony on Saturday 21st in Snake Circle at Booyeembarra park at 11am. It was a deeply enriching ceremony facilitated by Eileen and was enjoyed by all who attended. Beginning with a drum cleansing through to a pipe ceremony to acknowledge and being in the medicine of the Summer for this year. We met up at Cafelumos for a delicious lunch and fabulous smoothies. 16.01.2022 Summer Solstice is upon us with such fine weather for the Hawk Clans ceremony on Sunday afternoon. An inspiring ceremony conducted by Steve at the Booyeembarra park in the Snake circle was very moving and welcomed by all who attended. After the ceremony, Michael facilitated a sweatlodge ceremony with dignity and grace. A fabulous supper followed which was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to everyone who attended and also those who supplied the tasty supper.

09.01.2022 Your new 2018 - 2019 Hawk Clan Committee has been elected! We welcome and thank these dedicated people for stepping up to steer SOTEMS through a new year. May SPIRIT and the ANCESTORS guide us to create our vision of medicine ways, to be deeply rooted on our path with wisdom and love.... 08.01.2022 Spring Equinox was celebrated on a perfect Spring afternoon at Booyeembara Park. Everyone brought a few flowers to create the dreaming wheel which looked beautiful. After a deep reflective ceremony, a luscious picnic was enjoyed by all. Thank you everyone for participating and contributing to bringing in the Spring season. Keep a look out for the Summer Solstice in early December. It soon will be here!

07.01.2022 Friends, family and our sweatlodge family all came together for the deep heartwarming Winter Solstice ceremony on Thursday 21st June. Wonderful group of people coming together for celebration and the sharing of a meal to acknowledge the season, the medicine of the south, and all aspects within the dreaming wheel. HAPPY SOLSTICE EVERYONE!

06.01.2022 Busy Bee for the Hawk Clan. A great effort went into digging in the Sweat Lodge and recovering it with new blankets ready for the spring and summer months ahead. A HUGE thank you to the few who showed their commitment and service not only to SOTEMS but to the community as well. Well done, a awesome result was achieved!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG and new life, a new freshness with new possibilities are upon us now! All those things that were put on the shelf are ready to explode into ACTION now we have days of sunshine and warmth. Coming together as a family and community to find resolve and strength in ourselves and to focus creating new ways of being and what life is about. Looking, listening, caring and creating the world around you, and supporting the ones close to you. A time of new beginnings. On Saturday 22nd September at 11 am there will be a special ceremony at Booyeembara Park to call in the medicine of the East. With the guidance of Gwana and the Ancestral grandfathers and skyfathers we can create our vision for the future. To choose, to think and be what our hearts and souls call to us to become. Come along a few minutes earlier to help decorate the Dreaming Wheel. Bring along flowers, branches and greenery from your garden. Salads, rolls, fruit, meat and cool drink will be provided. Summer Ceremony Each year at this time we mark and honor not only the movement of the sun, but the inherent cycles within a spiritual and physical life. As the sun is in the sky so it is within the Dreaming Wheel that we traverse the cardinal points finding our way to the center, this is part of our map and compass of our journey. The summer in the North is represented by stillness and dignity and the way we navigate the challenges we face in life. How we stand still within is our strength and courage to clearly understand the lessons in life.
