06.01.2022 In July Soul Song Journeys and Conversations of the Heart offered a day of prayer and reflection entitled Mary Magdalene - Apostle to the Apostles. Two one day retreats were offered in Brisbane and Alstonville. Those who attended found the day very nourishing. The beautiful Caravaggio picture below of Mary and Martha was used for a visio divina during the day.

Saturday morning 8th October to Sunday afternoon 9th October, 2016, Mercy Place, Bardon, Brisbane (at the foothills Mt Cootha) EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Betsey Beckman is an internationally renowned spiritual director, dancer, choreographer, author, mother, wife and teacher. She is passionate about living life fully and fostering creativity in all those with whom I share life and ministry. Her work includes experiential trainings for spiritual directors as well as a number of publications, including most recently Awakening the Creative Spirit: Bringing the Arts to Spiritual Direction and Praying, Singing and Dancing with Monks and Mystics. We now welcome expressions of interest from all people interested in exploring the art and prayer of dance and creativity as a doorway to the soul and to a deepening encounter with God. This retreat will be of special interest to Spiritual Directors. 04.01.2022 In September, to celebrate the feast day of Hildegard of Bingen, Soul Song Journeys and Conversations of the Heart will be offering two retreat days on Hildegard. The first will be on 17 September, at Alstonville. This day is called Hildegard of Bingen - Anchorite, Abbess, Saint and Doctor of the Church.
