21.01.2022 Interesting photo from the late 50s early 60s showing sound media of the time: 45 rpm discs, reel to reel tapes, and nipper overseeing it all. Note that miniature disc player, we have one of these in our museum on display, a most unusual piece of equipment.

20.01.2022 Our friends at Hobart FM will be there at the Vinyl Fair, have a chat with a Presenter, and pick up some CDs or Vinyl. Head up to the stage in the main hall and say hello!

20.01.2022 Preparations are heating up for next Sundays HUGE Vinyl Fair and for the first time we have a collection of LaserDiscs from the early '80s. You may remember these as the predecessor of the DVD and they are 12 inch diameter and most are double-sided. Our collection has Movies, Documentaries, and Music Video titles. They are $15 per Disc and all have their original covers. Your chance to own a piece of Audio/Visual history!

16.01.2022 You asked for it, it's back! Hobart's favourite vinyl fair is on again on Sunday the 15th November at the Alma Street Hall, 17 Alma St Bellerive. Free parking at the event. Refreshments available. Hand sanitising stations and social distancing will apply. Entry from 11am until 2pm with a gold coin donation. Come join us for a fun day and the greatest bargains in Tassie! For further info call Ray on 0400 232 916 We are also including for sale a variety of audio gear and vintag...e radios! Tape machines, tuners, amplifiers, turntables etc. Social distancing will apply and all public entry will require your name and contact number. Sorry to impose this but it is a legal requirement, like eating out at a restaurant.

11.01.2022 We have just spent the day sorting out Audio and Hi-Fi gear for the Vinyl Fair on Sunday the 15th, wow have we got some gear! If you need a new turntable or amp or tuner or tape deck we've got the lot at bargain basement prices. Some gear plug in and ready to go, some gear just ready to have some TLC to restore it to it's former glory. And for the first time Vintage Radios, again some plug in and go, some great restoration pieces. As well, our largest collection of Vinyl LPs all just $2 each. This is MASSIVE, see you there from 11am, 17 Alma St Bellerive.
