24.01.2022 THROAT CHAKRA HEALING "The Throat Chakra is located in the middle of the throat. The Throat Chakra is connected with our expression and communication. Blocks in... the Throat Chakra can manifest in holding in our truth, keeping secrets, keeping our emotions unspoken, holding in self expression, pain or lumps in the throat, thyroid issues, neck issues or pain. These issues can be caused by feelings that our truth is not valid, that no one wants to hear our truth, that our feelings aren't worth speaking or that we will be misunderstood. Meditation with the Throat Chakra can help to remove blocked energy. Practice self care and place the stone in alignment with your Throat Chakra while laying down and connect with the healing energy. You can also do a yoga pose to support the healing of the Throat Chakra. Lion Pose is very powerful for the Throat Chakra. 16.01.2022 I live gongs. Yes. I started to follow the vision of cosmic sound music in 1984 when I created my first gong center, the Klanghaus, in Hamburg. Since then my go...ng - journey never stopped. I did travel the world even a couple of times and there never has been a week in my life without gong playing. I love gongs, still. Every moment of playing, performing but as well as teaching integral gong and sound music appears to me to be a new moment, a unique moment in time, where something new happens. And sometimes it is even beyond new, as it happened these days. The birth of the new gong collection, the PAISTE Bronze Gongs, took a couple of years, but in 2020 the time has come and humanity and huwomanity witnesses the next step of gong sound evolution. We are moving forward from the Big Bang - theory towards the Big Sound Theory. The creation of all things is not something that singularity happened billions of years ago, it is happening right now. It will take some time to figure out, what this latest chapter of the mystery of gong sounds is exactly about. Due to the different materials of the instruments, the sounds are much softer, smoother, warmer; I would say they are so much more emotional than the nickel-silver gongs. This is why I will describe the Bronze Gongs a emotional gongs. I had a little magical experience playing these gongs outside on the fields and my suggestion is to experiment with the aspects of environmental sound healing. People do need healing. Absolutely, but so does nature. You are kindly invited to be a part of the next step of this amazing evolution of sounds. Let´s figure out how this new chapter of global gong culture can support your personal path in this lifetime. And at the end of another great day in Gongsters paradise I want to thank the great gong master team at Paiste Gongs, particularly the head of gong mastery, Sven Meier and Ferdinand Petersen for doing a very good job. 03.01.2022 No6 I have two number sixes. I chose another to fill the gap in my framework and to offer further versatility for small group work. With a number of the seven b...eing quite eclectic in character, I felt six would give the set more to play with. No6 is a reminder of the classic Paiste Symphonic gong, yet being made of cusn8(b8) they are different.There is nearly two years difference in age between the two sixes. As I’ve said before there is an interval of four notes difference c2#(67hz)-F2(83hz).Which I believe is a result of the b8’s natural tendency to relax further than the nickel silver gongs. I don’t imagine Paiste offering the same gong in different tunings, however if you know different do let me know. (I did have a third No6, which I returned and now wish I’d checked the base note on that as a reference) Both offer a very warm and rich ‘ royal’ sound, the F note particularly is darker and slow to offer its frequency structure, whereas the C# is newer, tighter and quicker to the upper tonal register. Metaphorically I’ve described these as the ‘hare&tortoise’, as they both offer the same, and reach the same destination but with different speeds..they both offer a wonderful brightness, albeit one quicker. Like the classic symphonic gong, the sound decays slowly, unlike number 9 which decays very quickly in comparison. Infact 9’s overall sound decays quicker than any of the other six in the set. I can’t pick a favourite between the two, both are excellent gongs with a wonderful timbre and presence. The mirror finish on these is fantastic, if you do buy any of the bronze gongs you’ll probably find yourself practicing ‘careful handling’. In no way would I want to have to attempt to remove any sticky prints or water staining, as I don’t think I could match the machine polish pressure by hand. #paistegongs See more
