20.01.2022 We know how quickly COVID-19 can spread, and that's why we are taking swift action to stay ahead of the curve. From midnight tomorrow, new restrictions on resi...dential private gatherings and the service of food and drink will come into effect. Residential gatherings will be limited to 10 people, and the service of food and alcohol in cafes, restaurants and licensed venues must be seated. We are acting on expert advice to keep the people of South Australia safe.

04.01.2022 South Australia is on HIGH ALERT Two new cases of coronavirus have been announced in South Australia. One is a 50 year old male, a direct contact of the positiv...e case of the 20 year old female announced yesterday, contact tracing is underway, and this is now considered a cluster. The 20 yr old case has Victorian origins. The other is a male of 50 who entered SA on a repatriation flight, went into quarantine, was tested, and remains there. Premier SA Steven Marshall has announced new restrictions today, saying all of Australia including South Australia, is on high alert. Victoria is a huge concern he said. Restriction 1. Home gatherings are now restricted to 10 beginning Tuesday. Reduced from 50. Restriction 2. Alcohol can only be consumed when seated with or without food in pubs and clubs. Restriction 3. Football matches and gyms will also face tighter restrictions. More details will be announced We need to act swiftly and stay ahead of the game the Premier told the press conference today.
