Two games of 11 ends, 2x2x2x2 Mufti Pairs starting at 12:30pm. $20 Per Team, all monies paid out in prizes and a complimentary sausage sizzle afterwards.... 21.01.2022 Yesterday saw the delayed Miller Medal Vote Count and Presentation Day for last season held at South Perth Bowling Club. A smoothly run event thanks to the efforts of Gordon Berryman and the Social Committee. Catering provided was first class offerings from our sponsor Angelo St. Markets. Also great to see club sponsors Steve Lally (Ian Hutchison Real Estate) and Paris and Ben Habibi (Mends Street Pharmacy) in attendance.... Thanks go out to our other club sponsors Crusso's Hair Design, Formbys Lawyers, Kingspan Rhino Australia, Liquor Traders Australia, Roadbend, Foundation Planning Services and the TAB for their ongoing support. Winner of the "MVP" Miller Medal was Justin Opie. Ladies Bowler of the Year was Sandra Hemphill and Men's Bowler of the Year was Tyrone Alberti (pictured). 07.01.2022 Our annual fixture with the W.A. Police Bowls Club was held tonight. Playing through a light drizzle, the host club won two rinks out of six but snuck in for a tight aggregate victory. Saving the night for the Millers was the rink of David Hagen, Lily Djukic, Di Heath and David Mortley (sk). Also playing their first uniformed club fixture for South Perth were Maureen Fisher and Anne Pride.
