25.01.2022 After all 247 weeks of 2020, here we are, at Week 10, Term 4! Here’s what’s happening this week: Gold reward day will take place on Tuesday Report cards will be emailed home on Wednesday - please ensure the school has your current email address Wednesday is the last day of Term 4 for our students - Thursday and Friday this week are student free days ... Have a great short week everyone!

25.01.2022 Yesterday we had the great privilege of hosting Sophie from Footsteps - Educating through movement. All classes learnt two dances and had a brilliant time. Thank you so much Sophie! You were amazing We may have taken some sneaky video of the kids during practise so keep an eye out over the next few days for a little snippet of fun and dance!

25.01.2022 Congratulations to all our award recipients this week! We had a massive parade this morning handing out all our behaviour awards and we’re so proud of everyone’s efforts! Our Gold, Silver and Bronze recipients have worked so hard to earn their spot at the top! Well done to you all! Congratulations also to our students of the week, duckies of the week and rainbow readers! We’re so close to the end of term and you’ve kept up your commitment and dedication! ... 23.01.2022 Our Prep/Year 1 class performed their awesome dance this morning and received their book gift from our amazing P&C Association! Thank you to everyone who came along to watch and THANK YOU to our P&C!

23.01.2022 A special tuckshop day is being offered this Thursday for all students. All orders are to be written on a paper bag clearly labelled with child’s name and year level. Please find available options below: Sausage on bread (sauce of choice) $2 Steakette sandwich (cheese, steakette, tomato, lettuce and sauce of choice) $3... Milkshake (vanilla or chocolate) $1.70 Spring Water (mixed flavours) $1.70 Poppers (mixed flavours) $1 (Limited drinks are available so students may be offered another option. Please list if no other option is allowed for your child). Red Day Snack bag - 2nd break only $2 - Chips (mixed flavours) - Ice cream cup with sprinkles and freddo on top

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, have been declared student free days. It’s been a challenging year and you have all risen to that challenge. 14.01.2022 Our students have an awesome new place to sit while they’re eating their lunch! How good is that shade?! Thanks so much to the folks who attended the working bee and helped us paint and give new life to these benches! And a massive thanks to Mr Rowen for adding the final touches and making them functional and safe! So great to see some old school furniture revived in a colourful and useful way!

This note will explain the measures that are in place in order for us to comply with Covid Safe procedures. 01.01.2022 Our Small Schools Athletics Carnival went off with a bang today! We’re so proud of all our students for giving their best and never giving up Well done to everyone! We’d also like to congratulate the other schools we competed against. Everyone showed exemplary effort! Last but not least, we’d like to say a HUGE congratulations to those Southbrook students who earned themselves the Age Champion medallions. Great job Tiah, Caleb and Maddison!!!
