24.01.2022 Don’t forget this coming Saturday April 6th is round 1 and at 3:30 Div 1 men take on City Marians in the first annual JT memorial shield. There will be a raffle run on the day along with a silent auction where 2 Signed Kookaburras shirts will be up for grabs. All the proceeds will go towards JT’s 3 boys. If you can’t make it on the day you can still make a bid or purchase raffle tickets by contacting myself or Sam Trevarthen. ... Hope to see you all there!!

22.01.2022 On Saturday the 12th of September 2020, South Burnie Hockey Club will be holding our 'Shave for a Mate' fundraiser. Brent Jago, Mel Scolyer, Kyle Webb, Jamie Cairns and Brady Cairns will be shaving their hair in support of their club mates that have recently battled cancer. The shave will be at 4pm at McKenna Park and we would love to see you all there. Following the shave there will be a function in the bar. If you would like to donate towards this great cause, you can do so using our 'Go Fund Me' page. All donations are greatly appreciated. How can we prevent sporting injuries How can we treat sporting injuries How do I tape a knee or ankle Are kids allowed to go to the gym, should they stretch, how long should pre-season go for, are jumping sports bad for their knees (and other common sporting questions) Well to help out, Coastal Physiotherapy will be holding a free presentation night on Monday 16th March at 6pm-7pm. One of our Physiotherapists, Sarah Cowgill, will be presenting the talk. Sarah has extra training in childrens physiotherapy and has a lot of insight into this area. The talk will be directed towards parents and coaches of kids between 10-18 years. Though the presentation is free it would be fantastic if people could contact us on 64314586 if they are coming so we can get a gauge on numbers,
