25.01.2022 Shellharbour City's Junior Vice President is Dale King. Dale has put a lot of work into Shellharbour's juniors over a few years and has coached teams for the club, including their U17's team this season as well. Dale is a worthy recipient of recognition for his voluntary service with Shellharbour City CC. Well Done Dale

21.01.2022 Another volunteer within SCDCA that needs no introduction is Simon Pearse. Simon has been instrumental in the getting junior cricket back into The Rail Cricket Club and Simon has also been a great advocate for female cricket at The Rail. This is all absolute credit to Simon's tireless hard work. Simon also played a vital role in getting the new Croome Cricket Oval for The Rail at the start of this season. 19.01.2022 Todd Mitchell is the first of our junior club volunteers for this week, and is the lifeblood of junior cricket at Albion Park. Todd has been working tirelessly over a number of seasons to keep getting the juniors in at Albion Park and results have shown this year with a healthy number of juniors at the club. Well Done Todd
17.01.2022 I have been a L2 Coach for 17 years. I have been coaching on the South Coast for 20 years at all levels both Junior and Senior. The next coach we would like to highlight is Grant Tilling. Grant has Coached Clubs - OFCC, Gerringong and RCC South Coast Institute of Cricket - Coach... Is the current Rep Coach for Colts and Senior Teams for Southern Zone and the GIZC Available times for coaching are in the afternoons 430pm onwards. Grant also do fitness programs for cricket specific training. 16.01.2022 A fantastic season for India Bellhouse, Abbey Speering, and Taleha Urszulak this year, all playing in Country Championships squads and also performing well in our local comps. All 3 of these girls were nominated by their clubs for SCDCA Junior Female Player of the Year in 2019/20.

15.01.2022 SCDCA has also had some fantastic female representation in the pathway this year with 7 female players from SCDCA selected in the junior country champs sides for GICZ. Also a huge congrats to India Bellhouse, selected in the U15 Female Country NSW Nationals squad
14.01.2022 This year we had a number of players selected to represent GICZ in the augural CNSW Youth Championships. A top effort from these boys and girls on their selection in the GICZ 2019 Youth Champs Teams, and Congratulations to the U13's boys as well as Jake Monie in the U14's on taking out their respective Youth Champs competitions

11.01.2022 One of our newest volunteers within SCDCA this year was Terry Heapy from Oak Flats. Terry took on the role of Junior President at Oak Flats Cricket Club and absolutely did the hard yards ensuring Oak Flats CC juniors got on the park and provided great feedback at all our meetings this year. Terry, you did an awesome job, and well deserving of our volunteer awards this year, $200 voucher to Ashmore Palms Holiday Village.

10.01.2022 Not often do we see someone so young come in and volunteer within Cricket in such a substantial way as Byron Lawler. Byron has Geoff Shaw Oval as his second home by helping with ground prep, the canteen, and even this year helped out with our live stream of the One Day Final. Byron also volunteered by picking up umpiring this year to help us with ensuring we had enough umpires for our junior finals. A top effort from an exceptional young man. Well Done Byron

07.01.2022 One of our unspoken volunteers getting a mention today and a junior volunteer award winner this year is Kylie Hore from Lake Illawarra. Kylie has been around Lake Illawarra and SCDCA for many years and plays an instrumental role in ensuring Lake's junior players are registered and ready for each season. Kylie in past seasons has also been the junior rep coordinator for SCDCA and is due for recognition for the great service she has provided for both Lake Illawarra CC and SCDCA. Thanks Kylie.
06.01.2022 This season, SCDCA is awarding 10 of our junior club and association volunteers with $200 vouchers to Ashmore Palms Holiday Village on the Gold Coast. Stay tuned for the rest of the week where we will be naming two each day from Wednesday to Sunday as a part of National Volunteers Week.

04.01.2022 Our second for the week is Josh Spain from Gerringong. Josh has been heavily involved at Gerringong with their cricket blast programs within Gerringong Public School, and also coaching junior teams over past seasons. Also a handy 2nd grade player, Josh is well deserving of this recognition.

01.01.2022 Every one of our junior rep teams that have had one of the Harrison's in their team over the past 7 years have been treated to an amazing lunch from Sharon Harrison. Sharon has been preparing an amazing spread of food for several SCDCA junior rep teams over the years, and its this gesture over a number of years that make her very worthy of volunteers week recognition and recipient of our holiday vouchers to Ashmore Palms Holiday Village.
