24.01.2022 $2000 TO WIN!! First ever SOUTHCOAST STREET CHALLENGE Registered Streetcars only class running Dial your own racing with $2000 to win and $500 for second... All registered streetcars welcome $100 to enter All Cars Must complete a 20minute street cruise through Portland as a group before racing to be elligible to compete i the street class for the change to win $2000, Cruise route to be released shortly Class Rules and Regs: Will be over the 1/8 mile at South Coast Raceway Will be a Chicago Shootout running Dial In Times Cars MUST be fully Registered (Club Permit is allowed) Cars are allowed to be trailered to and from the event Cars are to drive back to the pits under there own power no tow cars Any tire size is allowed Any cars that require ANDRA tech must be fully licenced and have current ANDRA tech inspection All cars must be scrutineered on the day No completly fabricated racecars All cars must complete the street cruise to be able to race Any hooning on the streeet will get you kicked out of the event and no refund will be given Can change wheels and add parachutes before racing Cars must have full length exhaust including a muffler South Coast Drag Racing Association will take no liability for any participants actions outside of the grounds at SouthCoast Raceway. Drive your Car at your own risk during the street cruise. All responsibility will be on the entrants/ car owners.

24.01.2022 Working bee at South Coast Raceway this Saturday. Concrete truck will be turning up at 8am. Can we please get a few helpers before 8 so we are ready to go when it arrives.



22.01.2022 Time to get back into gear and start running some events (albeit with limited numbers). Thanks to everyone’s effort in getting the COVID numbers down, with 10 consecutive COVID free days in Victoria, we can start planning some events. Awesome work Save these Dates-... December 12th 5K Burnouts Saturday all day 11am to 6pm January 9th Test n Tune Saturday all day 11am to 6pm January 23rd & 24th Major Event Saturday and Sunday We still have a fair bit of work to compete at the track before we can kick off the season. Keep an eye out for Working bees, we need all hands-on deck to get the facility ready. More will be added to the calendar in the next few weeks.

21.01.2022 South Coast 5K Competitor Gates open 8:30am Scrutineering starts at 8:30 until 12. ALL Enterants, passengers and spectators must pre enter/purchase tickets on line prior to event. No entry or ticket sales on the day. No exceptions. ... Entries close midnight December 6th. Enter at southcoastraceway.com.au Event layout Burnouts will start from 11am Everyone will get 2 minutes to do their skid each round 2 rounds of skids points added together to determine finalists. Tip in comp will be judged durin the first two rounds AASA rules One passenger total. Non flammable Long sleeves long pants closed in shoes and approved halemets. No skull caps. All cars will be inspected upon entry. Burnouts will conclude at 6pm with presentations to follow shortly after. Classes include 6 cylinder Street Elite Awards/prizes for 6 cylinder, Street and elite 1st 2nd 3rd Rev king Tip in Carnage Hard luck No camping at venue Fully catered event No BYO All current COVID restrictions will apply and be enforced. 20.01.2022 This Saturday the 8th of February, South Coast Raceway will be booming with our largest blown meeting for the season. Supporting the Supercharged Wildbunch will be 6 other horsepower filled classes including, Top Sportsman, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike, Modified Eliminator, Radial and Junior Dragster. Gates open 9am Saturday Spectator entry $20, kids U14 free.

Free bbq lunch for all volunteers first truck is arriving at 8am so if people could turn up at 7:30 that would be awesome. Shovel and gum boots is ideal but all help is welcomed many hands make light work

16.01.2022 We are looking for someone who might like to help out in the control tower on the computers during each race meeting. It would be working alongside a few other guys in the tower. 15.01.2022 Working Bee this Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th from 4pm at the track, then we can pour concrete Saturday the 14th. Before racing and burnouts start at the track, we need to get some jobs finished, that we have not been able to do during lockdown. We require and few helping hands to get the burnout pad finished and the concrete support for the walls completed. We are still waiting on a clear direction of what we are exactly allowed to do regarding numbers, crowds etc before we plan any events, so stay tuned.

15.01.2022 There will be another working be at the South Coast Raceway on Saturday morning starting at 9:00 AM. It was great to see a few new faces last weekend, can we please get a few more come and help this Saturday, as we need to finish off the guardrail for the burnout pad. Only a few more small jobs to do and we should be right to go.

09.01.2022 WORKING BEE SATURDAY As some of you might be aware that South Coast Raceways burnout pad is getting an upgrade, we need more volunteers to help out this Saturday 7th of March to box the slab and get it ready and then the following Saturday the 14th to pour the concrete. Burnout guys have been asking for this for a long time so we need as much help as possible to get this completed or else it wont happen
