21.01.2022 Darwin's Viking Funeral OK so I hadn't heard of this event until a week ago. The Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association's annual Viking Funeral - a midyear may...hem of festivities featuring a ‘Burning of the Boat’ complete with Viking effigy, accompanied by a pipe band to pay tribute to retired vessels and sailors passed away. Certainly something different in Darwin, loads of entertainment and a good family atmosphere. Hard to film with just one camera (and just a DSLR on a tripod mind you) might have to bring some of the lads down next year to get proper footage and audio? ... Mike, Edmund, Jeremy, Salvatore, Brad, Nicholas, Chloe?

03.01.2022 Even for a seasoned cameraman I still get a huge rush out of standing on the start line when the Top Fuellers launch. You can imagine then for a first timer it...'s an almost unbelievable experience, but it's also just as much fun to see their reactions. I just happened to have HighRPM's slow-mo camera focused on the start line and on reviewing the footage discovered I had managed to grab the first time reaction of Hot100 Darwin announcer Krystle Pilling to the launch of Kelly Bettes driving the Lamattina Top Fuel Racing Top Fuel Dragster! #EPIC launch and an understandable reaction there from Krystle .... #PoppedTheTopFuelCherry Hidden Valley Drag Strip MotorSports NT
