24.01.2022 Gymnastics will be starting on Monday and will continue every Monday for 6 weeks. We will be starting at 11.15 as we need two bus trips to get everyone there. Juniors 11.30 arrival and depart 12.30. Seniors arrive 11.45 and depart 12.45. Cheers we look forward to seeing you there if you can.

Alternatively you can ring your teacher to make a time on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays over the next two weeks. Welcome Back Kerry and we look forward to welcoming Emily Denyer ( new last name as married recently) in the last week. 17.01.2022 Hi all sorry about the disruptions the last few weeks. I have also been sick with glandular fever the last few days. I hope to be back on board asap. Hope to be back in the unit on Wednesday. Will be at school hopefully Monday, however, I am losing my voice and still not to good. Don't want to infect anyone. SORRY! 07.01.2022 Swimming program will be starting next Monday the 15th and Friday the 19th. It will go for 5 weeks/ 2 times a week. Cost is $50. We will also be having Heatlhy harold This Friday. Great to see the Giraffe back. We hope you all had a wonderful break and we look forward to the very active times of summer and term 4.

04.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that this Friday will be a Half day due to the forced public holiday for the races. Taxis will be running from 11.45 onwards to 12 and you need to be ready for the early return. Staff have been contacting parents by phone to ensure a person will be at home for taxis. If your are picking up your child, you can pick up from 11.30 onwards as we will be closed at 12 noon. If you have any problems please see me at school or your teacher. Social Safety Training Workshop SoSAFE! provides teachers, counsellors, and other professionals with visual and conceptual tools to enhance the social, social-sexual and social safety training of people with moderate to severe intellectual disability (MSID) and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to: Describe social, linguistic and cognitive characteristics of clients with intellectual disability or ASD that expose them to increased risk of physical and sexual abuse Identify key design features of SoSAFE! that enhance social skill, sexuality education and social safety outcomes for these clients Explain the function of SoSAFE!’s principal tools (the Talk Touch Triangle, Steps to Relationship and People and Relationship Book) Describe how these tools can be used to address a number of common issues related to socio-sexual behaviour and social safety This Workshop is currently only offered by Pyramid Educational Consultants in Sydney and Melbourne.
