24.01.2022 Sorry I have been a bit quite lately. The last few months my family has had to adjust to a lot of changes due to myself going back to work full time. Now that we are starting to settle into our new life I’m hoping you will start to see more on our page again. While I have been a bit quiet on social media the rugs and orders have still continued to come in. Here’s some of the halters I made for a Christmas order. Thank you again for all your support and look forward to continuing to work with you all.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone Sorry I haven’t posted for awhile but the last few weeks have been pretty hectic with school holidays, family visiting and a change in routine. Unfortunately the time has come that I now need to go back to work full time so our family can reach our goals and dreams. ... What will this mean? For Warwick, Killarney and Stanthorpe customers, thing won’t change except Stanthorpe run will now be done on a Tuesday as 13th October. Allora customers if it’s possible to bring your rugs to Warwick and drop them off at the Aquabird Pet Centre would be amazing. Greenmount customers unfortunately I will not be able to travel up that way on a regular basis anymore. I am still happy to come up when there is enough rugs, but will most likely be monthly. I ask if everyone can please be patient over the next month while my family and I get use to our new routine and life, would be greatly appreciated. I do currently have a back log off rugs but I am getting through them as quickly as I can. There is currently about a 2 week wait on rugs though, until I can catch up again. If you have an emergency repair please send me a message and we’ll do our best to get it done ASAP for you. I appreciate everyone’s help, support and patients, and look forward to continuing to work with you all in the future. If anyone has any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to contact us. 05.01.2022 ATTENTION STANTHORPE CUSTOMERS Unfortunately due to a change in our current circumstances we will no longer be able to service the Stanthorpe area. All Stanthorpe customers are more then welcome to bring their rugs to our drop off point in Warwick at the Aquabird Pet Centre. All rugs must be cleaned prior to drop off as we will no longer be offering a washing service. I apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for all your support. ... Sophie

01.01.2022 As most of you are aware, I am now back at work full time. Over the last month I have been juggling work, the business, family, horses and the Killarney pony club and it is starting to take a toll me. When I first thought about going back to work I was wondering how I would do it all and aware that there may have to be some changes to what I can do. After much thought and discussions with my family the following changes will be made to Southern Downs Rugs and Repairs for n...ow as of 2nd November 2020 Our books will now be closed to new clients. we will no longer be washing rugs, with this in mind all rugs must still be cleaned prior to being repaired, but you will have to do this yourself. Stanthorpe customers unfortunately I will no longer be able to do this run. Existing clients are welcome to bring your rugs to our drop off point in Warwick though. Once things settle down I will review these changes again I apologise if this will causes any in convenience but our family and horses comes first. I will still be making all our rope and cord products as well as fly veils, hay, nose and peg bags ect. If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
