24.01.2022 Women’s health week is just around the corner: 7-11th September, and as with pretty much everything in 2020 we’ll be doing things a little bit differently. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for daily challenges and events, get your friends and workplaces involved, and help us celebrate women’s health, it’s powerful stuff!

23.01.2022 Day 2 of the #shawwomenshealth challenge! Do you pack incredible healthy lunches for your kids but forget your own? How about tell your colleagues to make sure they take their lunch break before scoffing a muesli bar at your desk between emails? We’re all guilty of it from time to time, so today’s challenge is all about taking the time to eat well and connect with others. Grab some fruit for a platter at work, have dinner with some friends, or simply put as much time into your own lunch as you do the other lunches you make. You deserve it.

20.01.2022 The financial difficulties of white ribbon were a big blow to the battle of raising awareness of Family and Domestic Violence and support for victims. White ribbon are making a return and this event will allow you to listen to a discussion between Rosie Batty and Brad Chilcott (the new CEO of white ribbon) and see what you think of their resurgence.

17.01.2022 Well this is it, Day 5 and the last of our Women's Health Week Challenges. 2020 has really brought the importance of community, friends, family, and social connection into the spotlight. Meaningful connections with others can have a massive impact on your social, emotional, and even physical well-being. So today we are asking you to call a friend, make a coffee date, spend some time with someone you love, enjoy your people! It's easy to forget to make time for these things in our busy and socially distanced lives, but trust us, its just what the doctor ordered!

12.01.2022 Stay connected... Positive social connections are essential for our mental health and can help us cope in times of stress. In the current crisis, we are being asked to distance ourselves from others so it is important that we maintain our social networks using available methods of communication. This can be as simple as phoning a friend to share your experience, using videoconferencing technology to check in with a family member, or spending quality time with the people you... live with. Video Conferencing examples- Zoom (up to 100 people in the one call) FaceTime (32 people at once) Facebook Messenger Google Hangouts (10 people in one call) Skype (up to 50 people in the one call) Grab dinner, videocall your friends and have a virtual dinner party.

11.01.2022 Day 4 Challenge: Reach Out! Its not just Women's Health Week, today is also RUOK? Day, so today's challenge is about reaching out, asking the question, and knowing what to do next. We're all in this together, so take the opportunity to meaningfully connect with a friend, family member or colleague, and offer support to those who need it. There's more to say after RUOK?!
