Soph played for Townsville, who made it through to the finals, at the U15 Indoor State Championship over the weekend. Unfortunately, the girls lost the final 2-1, with Sophie scoring the lone goal for the team. ... Sophie was today named in the U15 Girls Queensland Indoor Squad. What an amazing and well deserved achievement. Congratulations Sophie! #goatrep

10.01.2022 GRAND FINAL DAY Come down and support our teams. 11.00am Div 1 Men v Park Avenue (3 v 4)... 12.45pm Div 2 Women v Wanderers (1 v 2) 2.30pm Div 2 Men v Frenchville (1 v 2) Div 1 Finals follow at 4.15pm and 6.00pm for the women and men respectively. Presentations should start around 7.30pm. Any children who are present are invited to take part in some fun games on the turf after presentations. They will need to have shin pads and mouth guards. Sticks and vests can be provided if needed. All children will receive Zooper Doopers and chips. Southern Suburbs is Duty Club from 9.00am to 110.00am on Saturday morning and all clubs are to help clean up at the end of the night. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and it would be great to have members stay and celebrate the end of a very interesting season. See you there! #gothegoats

01.01.2022 Another big weekend of rep hockey! Brock Christensen and Dylan Quinlin just finished playing in the U/18 Men’s Indoor Hockey Championship in Brisbane. Lead by Kaleb Christensen (coach), Darcy Milner (asst. coach) and Tanya Christensen (manager), they played their way to the Div 1 final against Brisbane, which finished 2-2 at full time. ... Sadly, the boys went down in shootouts 2-1. Still, this is a great achievement for our town and congratulations to all involved on this tremendous effort. EDIT: Clearly stoked for Krispy Kremes. #goatrep
