21.01.2022 We are pleased to formally announce the re-appointment of our coaching panel for the 2021 season. All coaches will continue in their roles from the previous year. Together they boast a mountain of umpiring and coaching experience. After a tumultuous 2020, they are keener than ever to get our group back out on the park for what we anticipate will be a successful year.... Congratulations to each of our coaches on their re-appointment as we wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season of community football.
20.01.2022 Wishing everybody a safe and happy Christmas from our umpiring family to yours. See you all soon in 2021. #SeasonsGreetings #HappyHolidays #StaySafe

16.01.2022 ***SGUA COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT*** Last night the SGUA conducted it's AGM and with that we are pleased to announce our committee for 2021. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend. It was certainly great to be able to catch-up with everyone face to face.... On the executive committee, Paul Carter has been elected as Vice-President, whilst Tim Kemp has been re-elected as Treasurer. Appointed to the position of Secretary, we welcome a newcomer to the association in Pauline Pawsey. Pauline brings a wealth sports administration experience and we look forward to having her as part of our panel. On the general committee front, Graham Laird has been re-elected onto the committee after completing his term as Vice-President. Harrison Taylor-Smith joins the committee for what will be his first term, whilst Geoff Haddock and Gary Scholz have both been re-elected for another term. Despite there being no football, 2020 still managed to be one of the SGUA’s busiest years. A big thank you to everyone that helped contribute through a tough 2020, as we now look forward to returning back to normal next year in 2021 and beyond.
