17.01.2022 Dear Patients, Please see below notice regarding cancellation policy displayed in our clinics as of August 2020. As a small business each patient and procedure mean a great deal to us. ... Cancellations that are advised 24 hrs prior allow for these spots to hopefully be filled. Please also understand that in the case that it does not fill in this short time period, as a small business we then absorb all the running costs that apply for these procedures that were to take place (dental assistants, medical receptionists, overheads etc). As per our standard protocol we will continue to send text message and email remainders to allow patients enough time to advise of any cancellation before hand. We also understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances beyond the control of patients such as medical emergencies etc., and for those reasons we ask that patients call us so it can be dealt with on a case by case basis. After asking me to go first and watching with hawk eyes, Lenyrd had his first proper clean followed by a polish and fluoride which he sat in the chair all on his own for and then Aewyn had her first ever polish and fluoride whilst sat on my knee. They did absolutely super, they listened well, sat still and rinsed perfectly. I'm so pleased that we started early with the dental visits, not only have we been able to keep an eye on their tushie-peg progress, we've identified and reduced Lenyrds side bite (a result of the cherry teat dummy he used to love), we learnt to spot the same with Missy-moo and thus stopped the dummy before it got too bad, plus they are getting really comfortable with having their teeth checked and now cleaned!! It definately pays to find a good dentist who's good with kids though, ours is great and it seriously makes the trip much easier. The dental nurse today was super at getting the kids to count to ten with him whilst they had the fluoride on.
