21.01.2022 Hi Everyone As you no doubt are aware we are experiencing heavy rain and this is predicted to continue all weekend with an East Coast Low over Coffs Coast. All our games including juniors are on turf, so therefore we can do as we usually do and make a decision on a game by game basis, and I guess this really depends on how bad the weather becomes, as local flooding is also predicted. I will be at the grounds around 7:00am tomorrow and a decision on Minkey/U9 can be made by 7:...30am. This information will be placed onto the website and updated regularly throughout the day/night. A reminder there will also be heavier traffic than usual as the World Cup Touch Titles are being played. This mainly will affect parking. Women’s Masters selection/training 3 May at 9:30am again if it is torrential rain, we won’t be doing this contact Debbie Baldwin (0417429788) to find out if still going ahead. If session is washed out we do request that anyone that has expressed interest and not paid their deposit - MUST pay their $50 deposits asap. 21.01.2022 The start of the Seniors competition commenced this weekend.. It's a weekend that we all wish to forget. Our Women's side had to forfeit their first match due to insufficient numbers, and our Men's team only managed to get 8 players onto the pitch, going down to Bellingen 11 - 0. Let's hope we can get enough players for the upcoming weekend. ... Seniors training is on this Thursday between 6pm - 7pm, women and men train together - come along and let's have some club fun together. Our Juniors teams are still participating in the Saturday morning round robin events with another being held on 18th April. Thursday Training for juniors will commence on 23rd April between 4.30pm - 5.30pm

20.01.2022 Wednesday night Undef 18's Comp: We are holding another Come & Try night this Wednesday 1 April 6:00pm start - this is FREE. The ages for this comp are for kids turning 15, 16, 17, 18 this year. Feedback from the kids involved was they would like to have mixed comp and play on full pitch. We are also combining some skills sessions into this night.... We had a lot of fun, with music and mixing up players into teams. Free night again on Wed 1 April. We then plan to have 2 weeks off for school holidays then resume on Wed 22 April and run for 8 weeks. The cost for participating in the 18's comp for 8 weeks will be $40 per person due to be paid by 22 April - bring money that night. All players MUST be online registered. We can help facilitate this if anyone needs assistance. Should anyone require any further information just ask.

17.01.2022 Job well done to all those that played on the weekend in the Bruce Barnier Coffs 9's. Tournament. The weather might have been a little kinder and been less hot, however no point complaining. Eventual winners in both the Men's and Mixed Competitions were Guyra - Well done.

12.01.2022 As a reminder to everyone the new Under 18's competition commences this Wednesday night, It will be loads of fun and everyone will placed into teams to play their games. This Saturday will be the first of the junior Round Robin events, from 9am. I encourage all Southside juniors to come along and join in the fun. And those of us playing in the Seniors come along and register for the season, show your support for the juniors within our Club and association. ... We need more players in all our teams, bring along a friend to play.

11.01.2022 Hi All, well the 2015 Seniors Competition starts this weekend. Women play this Friday night and unfortunately have had to forfeit the game due to lack of numbers. We urgently need more women to participate in the team. Our Men's team play on Saturday night. The current seasons draw will be posted shortly, please remember that it can be changed by the association if deemed necessary. ... Our Junior skills development and round robin events recommence this Saturday from 9am for the next two weeks ( not being held on Anzac Day 25th) and then the season will commence in May. Training for Men's and Women's teams commences this Thursday from 6pm. Even if you are not able to train come along and meet up with your fellow team mates. See u out at the ground soon

07.01.2022 The list of duties and tasks to be completed when Southside is rostered for Duty is to assist everyone. All Senior players will be rostered to assist throughout the season. No one person / team / volunteer should be forced to do all the work. Assigned dates and duties required will be issued to all seniors very shortly.

06.01.2022 Well the hockey season starts officially this weekend with the Bruce Barnier Coffs 9s Tournament on Sat and Sun from 8am. Come down and see some great hockey with both a Mens and Mixed tournament on.

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone Please be advised ALL HOCKEY for JUNIORS and SENIORS is cancelled for Saturday, 2 May. The complex has been closed in the interest of people’s safety. It is currently inaccessible, but no water inside canteen.... Decision on Masters Training for Sunday, 3 May will be made in the morning. 02.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just letting you know we have signed up to be part of the Pink up for Breast Cancer Network Australia’s Annual Pink Sports Day on the Mothers Day Weekend of 9-10 May. We encourage everyone to wear some pink ribbons, pink accessories, hair colourings but no major changes to uniforms please. We will also have collection tins at the canteen and we have been donated a beautiful handmade quilt which we intend to raffle.... Proceeds will be going to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
