13.01.2022 Regionals Wrap Up 2020 Thank you to all the Players, Coaches, Managers, Parents, Officials, Spectators and Volunteers for all your hard work to make the Regional Carnivals happen. Condensing the Carnivals for this year was a massive challenge that the Committee felt was the right option given the interruptions throughout 2020. ... We would like to say thanks for all the incredible work the Associations put in to support the event and enable their players to take to the court and represent their clubs proudly. 10.01.2022 On behalf of the Senior Director Russell Donovan and the Board of the South West Slammers it is our pleasure to announce Anita Reca as the Women’s Senior Coach for 2021. Anita has been working with the Slammers for the past year in many roles including Coaching or Assisting at Club and State level in our Junior Programs. Anita was appointed our D League coach for 2020 before the regular season for D League was abandoned due to Covid 19.... This is the next step in Anita’s coaching Career and we wish her every success. Anita has a strong group of assistant coaches - Zanè Bricite, Danny Van Dijk and a Mentor - Darren Austin. The New Coaching Team has a huge challenge ahead of them but they also share a whole lot of enthusiasm and passion for the development of the female side of our club.
