09.05.2022 Last Saturday’s market adventure. We get all our produce that we can’t grow from the @vicmarket. Love the vibrant colours and the imperfections of the produce here.

25.04.2022 We grew a puppy! Little Ralphie helping me garden, circa 2017. #throwbackthursday

16.04.2022 HARVESt We grew the worlds smallest carrots. At least we have a several healthy spinach plants that are providing us with a bowl full of leaves each week. We also picked some basil, Thai basil, and sun dried chillies.

12.04.2022 Repotted our chili and basil plants last night and added marigolds to attract bees, butterflies and lady bugs to our garden.

09.04.2022 Gardening runs in the family Visited my aunt last week and pottered around her garden. I left with a big bag of rhubarb and will make a rhubarb crumble for dessert tonight

24.01.2022 1/3 of our balcony garden It’s been really challenging to create space on our balcony to sow new seeds. Our limited outdoor space stops us from growing so many veggies we want to eat.

09.01.2022 Weekends are for gardening, cooking and adventures. I always look forward to our adventure to the @vicmarket on Sunday’s to buy food for the week. We choose to support local and mostly organic produce growers. Eventually when we move from our balcony garden to a backyard garden we will be able to eat exclusively from our own local, seasonal and organic produce Happy Friday! #harvestmelbourne #melbournegardens #melbourneveggiegarden #melbourneveggiegardens #organic #local #seasonal #farmersmarket #market

09.01.2022 Christmas hampers for our families. Although most of the ingredients used were market bought, it was fun to decorate the basket and jars with dried herbs from our garden and street. Home made goodies include ginger biscuits, pomodoro sauce, chili oil, mustard, savory biscuits and saffron linguine

07.01.2022 What my lunch looked like before I prepared it Rocket, spinach, parsley, and mint from the garden + a few extra ingredients from the market. It’s so satisfying eating food that you have grown

06.01.2022 Breakfast ingredients from the garden. Used homegrown spinach, parsley, chervil and chives to make an avocado smash with a herb medley and wilted greens

02.01.2022 My morning walk to pick up strawberries from the market lead me past the #courtneycommunitygarden. Picked up some mint leaves to have with breakfast and lots of inspiration
