24.01.2022 Blowers dont like water!

23.01.2022 This is a China Sanitary spa. I havent come across that many and yet this is the second one this month. They both have blown heaters.

23.01.2022 Replaced a check valve for the blower today. This one was just faulty but the same problem can be created when all of the air vents are closed and the pressure from the water pushes the water back down the air pipe. There is a S bend arrangement and a cap with a hole in it to prevent water flowing into the blower.

22.01.2022 Solar boosted air conditioner. Second part of the install in Halls Creek.

22.01.2022 A lot if spa equipment has North American wiring which used to confuse the hell out of me. Black Active and White Neutral? Seems counter intuitive to me.

20.01.2022 This is how to remove a broken air jet.

19.01.2022 No, this spa spa doesnt need Ghost Busters to get rid of the ectoplasmis substance. Its actually White mould and a good link with instructions on how to remove it is here: https://www.swimuniversity.com/white-water-mold-hot-tub/.

19.01.2022 First day on the job putting in solar in Halls Creek with George. Awesome weather up here. Well be back to fix spas again soon.

19.01.2022 Working on a Gecko spa today when I spotted this little fella in the switchboard!

18.01.2022 Warranty job on this Spanet controller. Just out of date but they honored it.

18.01.2022 An error 6 on a Davie spa generally is a sign that the pump that circulates the water through the heater isnt working (the pump at the back in this instance!) This one also has burnt wires on the heater which I repaired.

16.01.2022 Its always easier for us to diagnose faulty spas if we know the controller brand. The easiest way is to send us a photo of the touchpad. This one is a SV2 spa with a Saphire spas branding on the touchpad.

15.01.2022 George fired up the first air conditioner on DC only to test it.

14.01.2022 Something a bit different, a broken sauna. The elements are burnt out (1st photo) and will need replacing. The other photo us the control box.

14.01.2022 Ahh. Truely is summer! Cleaning out a spa for the season. When it comes to products I use the safe and basic products like metho and windex. These tough spots, which I suspect are from the decking oil, come out nicely with some elbow grease and metho.

13.01.2022 Using my spa piping skills to install a heater in my Perentie project!

13.01.2022 Friday special. Its a long crawl under the house for this Monarch spa which was overheating. Turns out one of the relays for the jet pump was stuck on which caused the motor to warm up substantially. The food news is that it was an easy fix with a spare slot and button for a third pump.

13.01.2022 Another 30 panels up! Now all that is left is for George to hook them up. Im heading back to the cold in Canberra tomorrow.

12.01.2022 A lot of spa equipment has American wiring which uses a black active and white neutral. I seems counter intuitive and does my head in a little bit! This one is an LA Spa.

12.01.2022 Here is the temperature difference solely running on DC.

12.01.2022 30 panels up and connected to the isolators.

10.01.2022 I replaced the touch pad on this spa today. The owner has replaced the worn out timber on the side with mini orb and it looks great!

09.01.2022 Broken spa bath cover. All fixed now!

08.01.2022 Its spring and rats have been hibernating in this spa. Unfortunately they also like to gnaw on the pipes! This is before and after photos of a spa that I had to fix today after some gnawing broke through and started letting water out.

08.01.2022 Leaking air jet

07.01.2022 "Quick easy swap over" George said! Had to remove the blower and shorten the pipes.

06.01.2022 These waterco spas have a thermal overload at the back. If the water level gets too low (or worse still the pump stops) the overload trips. In this instance after reseting the overload with a screwdriver it was all good.

04.01.2022 Hopefully replacing the exposed connections on this pump is the only thing this spa needs.

03.01.2022 Dont see many like this. The heater has gone in this one.

02.01.2022 For those who are interested, here is George working in lofty positions!

02.01.2022 Hmmm. I think this bath spa needs a new push button.

01.01.2022 Balboa spa with a broken heater. Back up and running in Murrumbateman.

01.01.2022 When water leaking goes unchecked or is hard to find the damp timber eventually crumbles. Before and after shots of the work involved.
