25.01.2022 What an amazing return to normal school weve had!! I cant believe the way our senior students have embraced their Leadership responsibilities. They are such a credit to you, as parents, and the way you have supported them to learn and grow in the Remote Learning stage. Im so excited to work in partnership with you to see what our amazingly resilient children can achieve over the next two terms at SPAN! They are such an inspiration! The first being St. Patricks day on the 17th of March - the form for the St Patricks Day treats went out today.... Please dont forget to fill it in and send it back by the 11th of March.

We are incredibly excited to welcome every single student back into the family that is SPAN. SPAN families have been amazing during Remote Learning. Thank you for your support of your children’s learning and for the school. This week, Book Week, is always an exciting time on the SPAN calendar. 17.01.2022 These amazing Grade 6 students decided they wanted to sing this beautiful Christmas song. They gave up many lunch times to practise and perfect it and this amazing performance is the result. The senior citizens of St Paul Apostle Parish in Endeavour Hills showed their appreciation. We are so proud of these future leaders.

08.01.2022 On the 23rd of March is our biggest, most fun event of the term- The Colour Explosion Run, there will be obstacles, there will be colour, there will be icy poles and there will be a couple of other surprises for the kids. Everyone who was there last year knows how much fun it was. Lets see if we can go bigger and better this year.... Jump online and register your kids and join us on the day. 02.01.2022 What if??? If they cancel the rest of the school year, students would miss 2.5 months of education. Many people are concerned about students falling beh...ind because of this. Yes, they may fall behind when it comes to classroom education... But what if... What if instead of falling behind", this group of kids are ADVANCED because of this? Hear me out... What if they have more empathy, they enjoy family connection, they can be more creative and entertain themselves, they love to read, they love to express themselves in writing. What if they enjoy the simple things, like their own backyard and sitting near a window in the quiet. What if they notice the birds and the dates the different flowers emerge, and the calming renewal of a gentle rain shower? What if this generation are the ones to learn to cook, organize their space, do their laundry, and keep a well run home? What if they learn to stretch a dollar and to live with less? What if they learn to plan shopping trips and meals at home. What if they learn the value of eating together as a family and finding the good to share in the small delights of the everyday? What if they are the ones to place great value on our teachers and educational professionals, librarians, public servants and the previously invisible essential support workers like truck drivers, grocers, cashiers, custodians, logistics, and health care workers and their supporting staff, just to name a few of the millions taking care of us right now while we are sheltered in place? What if among these children, a great leader emerges who had the benefit of a slower pace and a simpler life to truly learn what really matters in this life? What if they are AHEAD?
