22.01.2022 Have to be one of the nicest automotive orange paints ever invented, wouldn't it? Aprilia motorbike parts painted in Electric Orange

22.01.2022 The mighty Calais copped a full compound, polish and wax today. Didn't come up too bad for a daily driver, next will be respray of front bumper and pull all 4 wheels off to be redone in silver.

21.01.2022 Hopefully the mighty Gemini won't sound like an empty tin can anymore after fitting stage 1 of the sound deadening. Taking way more time than I thought, fitting tiles like jigsaw pieces..

19.01.2022 A bit more rust repair done to the SX wagon project. Made some new pieces for the rear corner window surround with the shrinker/stretcher but had to make do with folding the longer piece in the vice with some reinforced metal. (Will be investing in a folder soon.) Anyway, pieces welded in, just need some epoxy primer on both sides of repair and a skim of filler to complete!

16.01.2022 Getting close to finishing Zyon's Volvo 850 T5 turbo wagon. After half a respray with some repairs, fitting front mount intercooler, remove auto and replaced all seals, replace CV ,renew turbo, new brakes and tyres, repair odometer, recover front seats, fit exterior trims, hmm there is still more I'm sure...

13.01.2022 The Datto wagon finally got the roof painted in 2 pack primer. Was a mammoth effort, such a long panel and welding up the roof rack holes that had rusted also caused plenty of grief with warpage. A bit more filler in it than I would have liked but with the right prep throughout the repair,it should last! Time to let the paint shrink back and move onto some other rust sections before coming back to block it with 220 grit and see what we have...

13.01.2022 Finally hit the Gem with 1500grit and 3000grit damp sand, then compounded, polished and waxed. Came up a treat! Another step closer...

10.01.2022 Layed on some primer, will come back in a few days to block it with 220 grit and see what we have...

06.01.2022 Got the Fozzie up to primer stage after straightening out the body and a crap ton of masking. Finally getting somewhere...

02.01.2022 A few dents to fix and a respray to repair the sun faded paint on the cards for the Fozzy...

02.01.2022 I normally prefer pre '90s cars, but made an exception on this FG Falcon. Resprayed 2 doors in Debeers Clear over Base in colour 'Seduce' and had to swap over all the trims and tinted windows to the new supplied doors as the original doors had 'more hits than Elvis'. Looks like I'll be back on the Datto again real soon...
