25.01.2022 "This is not for those who continue to think, that a woman only belongs in front of the sink..." So excited to share my recent Showcase piece with you all!! There are so many amazing people who have invested time and care to get me where I am today- thank you all so much :) Make sure to turn sound/captions on! 'Flying' is a static trapeze piece that explores my experiences as a woman and the greater role of women in society today. The poem was commissioned specifically for this piece and was performed by me without a microphone. My aim was to match the conceptual meaning of the text with my physicality on the trapeze. 19.01.2022 'Miss La-tonya' has been a trusty name for my performing business since 2014, and however much I love it, it not longer reflects all of the work I do and has as such is in the process of being phased out . Instead Sparkle Society is the name that I am using to cover all of my performance adventures. This will also mean that the Miss La-Tonya Facebook page will also be changing to Sparkle Society. The content will stay the same therell just be more of it! This rebrand means that I'll be more active and you'll get to see a post more than once a year Cant wait to show you all my amazing new circus fun times

This December I'm trying to really see how I can make my performance practise more sustainable...some things are easy like finding costume pieces in op shops or taking public transport....some things are hard..is it possible to make balloons out of something other than latex????????
