21.01.2022 "Why some dental root-form implants have peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis and some eventually fail continues to be a mystery" ... ... Really? I'm... sorry, I fail to see the mystery here. In my mind, the mystery is called "Microbial Plaque" and we have half a dozen experimental studies in humans by now, proving that plaque accumulation will cause peri-implant Mucositis in less than 3 weeks... There is much we don't know about Peri-implantitis, but we can't ignore the elephant in the room...!
