22.01.2022 Hey guys just a quick post to make sure everybody has the right information. The event is free for all invitees, this includes Rides, Food and Entertainment. O...nly cost involved is car parking which is controlled by an independent company and is $10 as indicated on your ticket. Event doors will open at 9:30am and the event will wrap up at 1pm. There will be bottles of water supplied but we do encourage families to bring water bottles in case of a hot day and a water station is provided. Food is supplied so if your child has dietary requirements or allergies we suggest you pack a suitable meal as we are unable to cater for individual needs as stated on the invites. BIG SMILES ARE ESSENTIAL ON THE DAY , We very much looking forward to hosting you all in 3 days time

We also wanted to let you know we are working extremely hard on Plan A, B & C to ensure that the Special Children’s Christmas Parties will go ahead! We are in discussions with all of our venues, media partners, charities, government organisations etc as to what Plans A, B and C look like. Once we know what our plans are we will communicate these plans with yo...u. We know that there are tough times ahead for many businesses and many people throughout Australia. The health and well-being of attendees is of huge importance to us foremost, but please know we are 100% committed to ensuring that thousands of special needs children get to experience a day of joy and happiness, as well as receiving some amazing toys to put smiles on their faces. 13.01.2022 What an amazing day at the Brisbane Special Childrens Christmas Party 2019. Thank you to all the amazing sponsors, volunteers and our amazing crew that helped put the day together this would be possible with our you. Hopefully everyone is getting some well deserved rest now
12.01.2022 The Special Children's Christmas Party has had to change for 2020, but Santa will deliver! I have been overwhelmed with the amazing positive response and feedba...ck that we are still creating so many smile for these kids . For children across Australia, this will be a Christmas like no other. COVID-19 has changed the world, but we are determined it won't stop Santa in his tracks. Thanks to the incredible support of our wonderful sponsors, partners and volunteers, the Special Children's Christmas parties, traditionally held across Australia, have brought joy to thousands of special needs children over 30 years. This year, the children, many of whom travel long distances with their families and carers to enjoy the party, have again been looking forward to their special day. But, 2020 is a year like no other and sadly this Christmas will see major changes. The safety, health and wellbeing of the children, families and carers, our volunteers, supporters, entertainers and staff is our major priority. And therefore, given the risks we must change direction this year. While many of the children will be disappointed, we refuse to allow COVID-19 to rob them of a happy Christmas. We will take Christmas to the children and deliver the toys and special messages to them! The mammoth task of re-organising, gathering, sorting and distributing toys across each state and territory is now underway. This wasn’t an easy task but it is definitely the right one with the health and safety of the children alway being our number priority. Thank you again for all the positive energy and support We have already been overwhelmed in requests for this year and we aren't able to take on any more.

10.01.2022 Earlier in the week we heard young Oliver couldnt make it on Saturday because he was in hospital battling Leukaemia and autism.We contacted his ...mum Nicole and made a quick trip to drop him some toys . Moments like this make us all reflect on how lucky we are and proud to put on days for little champions like Oliver . 05.01.2022 Hi. We can understand everyone is concerned about the Party going ahead on Sunday. We will be there and everything so far is according to plan. IF something ha...ppens that requires the Showgrounds to once again be used as an evacuation area, we will have to obey whatever directions we are given by the authorities. These are very difficult times for so many. Our intention and hope is that we will spread a lot of happiness on Sunday . SAFETY has to be everyones main concern. Be safe today (and Sunday) rather than sorry tomorrow. Hope to see you soon See more
