20.01.2022 Our mates in Turn South put out an absolute cracker the other week, and you better believe theyre gonna jam it when they join us at our Farewell Show in December. Turn South were some of our first proper 'band buds' and are the most genuine, nicest people you could hope to know. We've played so many awesome shows with these guys over the years and Lachie even filled in on drums for them back in the day, so was a no brainer to have them on board for one last gig. From opening for Thrice at a sold out Billboards to playing to six locals at a pub in Ultima (Google it...), every time the five of us got on stage together we just had so much fun. Thank you endlessly to every band weve had the opportunity to play with, were very lucky to have played with some of Australias best and make a bunch of great mates along the way.... 16.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts we announce that after 6+ fun-filled years, Spectral Fires is calling it a day. We have all had so much fun playing together over the years and are so proud of everything weve achieved as a band, but its an unfortunate truth that all good things must come to an end. Wed like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way. To anyone who ever came to a show, bought a shirt or spun our tracks as well as all the amazing bands wev...e had the pleasure of playing with along the way (way too many to list here). Plus a special thanks to all our family, friends and girlfriends, who always told us we sounded good no matter how shit we played.
